Merry Christmas to you all

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and all the other holidays celebrated this Holiday season.
My Christmas wish is still the same for the Dolphins to win the super bowl, fingers crossed hopefully Santa can make it happen!

Your English is good enough and better than some posters here,

In the 1970's & 1980's I used to go to a French Restaurant in Sharonville, Ohio called the "Petite France", The owner was from France where her family ran a restaurant and hotel in southern France.

My favorite dish was Pollo Au Porto. With a name like that, I thought it was a Spanish dish. My daughter liked the Steak Hachette. They had a stew called cassoulet that I was told was a common food eaten by the working class in Maceris.

She told me her menu was based on French Southern cooking as opposed to Parisian cooking. I tried their mussel's once. The sauce was so good you could have eaten it on the shells.

That's as close as I'll ever come to visiting France. Some of my family did come to America from the Alsace region on the French/German border in the 1850's. The family name was Rheh (or Rehe), It sounded like German to me. It was anglicized to Ray.
