This is my first mock draft, I tried to be as objective as possible having several facts in mind. This mock doesn't include potential trades.

01) OT Jason Smith goes first as Detroit learns that nobody can throw the ball without protection and 2010 looks as a better QB class.
02) OT Andre Smith makes sense since Rams signed Kyle Boller as backup QB and they need to address the offensive line.
03) LB Aaron Curry, once they have a nice passer in Matt Cassel, KC Chiefs can focus on the defensive side.
04) QB Matthew Stafford after lot of Matt Hasselbeck injuries, there has been too much pressure on Seneca Wallace as Seahawks looks weaker year by year, so having Stafford falling to 4th, he'll be used as youth injection.
05) DE Brian Orakpo, Cleveland must add pass rush and run defense and this guy seems to be solution for both.
06) OT Eugene Monroe gets hired as bodyguard for Carlson Palmer in order to avoid some injuries.
07) WR Darrius Heyward-Bey won the pick over Crabtree because of his 40 yard time during the combine, and even any other NFL team should be focused on other aspects of a receiver, Raiders have speed as untouchable factor.
08) WR Michael Crabtree as the song says "simply irresistable" for Jaguars. His hiring will shake up things on Jacksonville's draft room.
09) DE Everette Brown will serve as OLB in emerging 3-4 Green Bay's defense that seriously needs to get in shape or the Favre shodows will start pushing.
10) DT Robert Ayers goes to San Francisco as defensive solution.
11) DE Aaron Maybin fills the requirement of pass rush that Buffalo is looking.
12) QB Mark Sanchez, who will cover Jay Cuttler's absence as nobody believes Kyle Orton may lead Denver into playoff.
13) DT Perria Jerry will serve as replacement for Jason Taylor and will be used as a killing weapon on 3rd downs.
14) RB Knowshon Moreno will complement New Orleans' weaponery, many scouts compare him to Barry Sanders and even Matt Stafford stated his value.
15) CB Vontae Davis is the first CB taken in this draft, he'll help in a weak secondary of Houston.
16) LB Brian Cushing, his talent has been under radar of several teams, and San Diego can use him as run stoper.
17) QB Josh Freeman
will serve as Jets' insurance policy in case Clements can't make the job.
18) DT B.J. Raji, after Denver repaired Cuttler saga damages, they can return into rebuilding the defense and they pick the most talented 3-4 DT in the class.
19) DT Fili Moala goes to Tampa Bay as solution for pass rushing.
20) LB Rey Maualuga, Detroit avoids mistake and selects a starter ILB that sholud work well between stelar Julian Peterson and Cody Spencer
21) OT Michael Oher enroles in Philadelphia as Donovan McNabb's protector, where they expect him to move over the o-line.
22) WR Percy Harvin looks like an interesting option for Vikings, he goes before Jeremy Maclin after combine results.
23) LB Larry English should help Patriots to add young blood, and as ever the rich gets richer as some scouts have pointed him as future pro bowler.
24) CB Alphonso Smith great talented guy that will impact since day one in Atlanta, making this team even better.
25) NT Ron Brace looks a little overrate here, but being the only NT of the class, his price goes up. Perhaps not totally ready to start but has shown impressive value.
26) WR Hakeem Nicks, Baltimore uses WR as option only when open or under pressure, so they search the guy that catches bombs and ducks and Nicks seems to be perfect.
27) DT Sen'Derrick Marks, after losing their targered WR, Colts pick a
defensive jewel that will help them a lot.
28) RB Chris Wells, running backs show in many flavors and Eagles fortify one of their weakest positions with Wells.
29) WR Jeremy Maclin who will try to fill Plaxico's role. Giants pick him after finding poor options on FA.
30) DE Tyson Jackson a wrecking ball for o-lines, Jackson will be more than usefull for Titans.
31) DE Paul Kruger goes to the desert where Card are commited to repeat the Cinderella story by returning to SB.
32) C Alex Mack is another talented center who will be used as flexible role among an o-line needing to upgrade.

I'm sorry but I know that's not going to happen. Too many better players at that pick that are quite simply better and we second of all NT is a need that we will have eventually but it isn't nearly as glaring as CB.

WR & CB will be addressed during second round, there won't be NT after first round.

interesting... what we need is depth at NT.. i dont think a first round draft pick is needed for that. JMO

Interesting. This is a pick that wouldn't surprise me. It wouldnt thrill me, but it wouldnt make my jaw drop a la Ted Ginn over Brady Quinn. The NT position is just too valuable and hard to fill to pass on a guy that can start there for 12 years. I think the Finheaven server would melt if we made this pick, I really do, even though the pick would make a lot of sense.

i mean, it makes sense that we are trying to get our D younger and blah blah blah.. honestly, i'd be upset with wasting it on Ron Brace.. JMO though

plus, i think we can get a decent prospect in Terrance Taylor, DT from Michigan in the 4th, maybe even the 5th if hes available which i doubt.

I agree with yungcane. Not to mention just because Brace can play the NT position and might be the best one suited to do so in your opinion doesn't mean he warrants a first round pick.
