DA M.I.A IS WHERE I STAY
MIA has done pretty well, and like I said before in previuos threads, that it shouldnt suprise anyone that MIA is wiining. But for me,I had the same mentalty, but I honestly didnt think oru first two wins would come back to back with the two teams that contended in the AFC Championship last year.MIA's future is looking clean green, probably the best team with the best shot at becoming the next 06' Saints, when they went 3-13 in 2005,and then to 10-6 in 06'.I would love to go into this more, but this is not what I started the thread for,so I'll digress....LETS TALK DRAFT PEPZ!
Previous Draft Post:
My New Predictions:MIA(8-8)[I see them picking in the mid teens]
1-Taylor Mays-FS/USC(6'4",230)
**I previously had Maualuga in the first, mainly cause I thought MIA was only gonna be a 5-6 win team, but beating 2 AFC contenders is NO fluke.MIA is built to get back as the season goes on,and so far thats been the case.I like Taylor Mays here.I really love his size and speed.Runs a 4.4 at 6'4" 230 lbs.WR is a need, but this WR class is much deeper at 2nd and 3rd round rather than the 1st,same goes for CB**
2-Clint Sintim-MLB(6'3,254)
**Previously had Hamlin here, but geting Mays in the first,no need to get another Safety....at least this high into it.So right here,I can see MIA geting someone to play beside Crowder, and I really like Clint Sintim.Dude is a baller.Had 77 tackles and 9 sacks last year in 07.I think he woudl be a bigger contribution that Chris Long would have been from Virginia.Chis always reminded me of Justin Smith(he wasnt going to be a bust, but he wasnt going to be the best and go to the pro-bowl,overall a solid player).Anyway,Sintim is 6'3",254 and is a hard hitter. His size is good, but I'd bet Sparano would want him to get to 260,but he has the physical nature to play in our scheme....TODAY**
2b-Mike Mickens-CB/Cincinnati(6'0,190)
**Previously had Barens here of Mayland, but I like Mickens more after looking at some scout vids.I like Barnes cause of his height, but I looked at his tackles and even though Barnes had a breakout season last year,Mickens has been doing it 3 years straight, and you know what that says dont ya???? CONSISTANT!!!! Plus hes gotten at least 1 pick a year, inluding 6 in 07**
3-Aaron Kelly-WR/Clemson(6'5",190)
**I previously had him at 2b,but NFLCD.com has him slipping**
4-Dorell Scott-DT/Clemson(6'4",320)
**we need to groom a future DT under Fergie, cause Soliai is a ? mark.Scott has the right size for a DT in a 3-4,and can only get better with Feruson there to guide him and make him better and better**
5-Garrett Reynolds-OT/North Carolina(6'7",310)
**need depth in the O-Line...we are REALLY thin.Other than Shawn Murphy,Miami doesnt have anyone drafted by them as backups**
7-Sammie Lee Hill-DT/Stillman(6'4",328)
**He has the size to play in our 3-4 scheme.Plus we need some depth,we still got Soliai who we dont even know is a keeper, and feruson is only signed for one more year after this year,so Hill will come in behind Scott and develop some chemistry as potential role players**
7b-Demonte' Bolden(6'5",290)
**Previously had Michael Jones of Arizona State here, but MIA's WR;s have came alive so far,so 1 WR is good enough for now.So here,I see them suring up the defensive trenches.Vonnie Holliday isnt the future,as Merling gets the start, plus,Vonnie is getting paid starters money...what like $4 or $5M?...Yeah,thats much to much.If MIA doesnt rade him, they'll look to release him, cause theres no since in having your backup make more money than your starter.I like Bolden. He relly should be going in the sixth, but this sdraft is gonna be a sexy draft. You got your corners,WRs,TEs,etc comnig out,DE will be overlooked.Bolden can turnout to be a pretty good role player, much liek the Giants Awasom**
7c-Jason Willams-OLB/Western Illinois(6'3",235)
**he will give some depth at LB...had 107 tackles,8 sacks a year ago.Good rusher, just a project in evything else. But I think he can come in a sa good relief player in a couple years, and who know, maybe even start**
Previous Draft Post:
1-Rey Maualuga-ILB/USC(6'2",262)
**I really want Crabtree, but we already planted our seeds on offense**
2-Michael Hamlin-SS/Clemson(6'3,205)
**I really love his size and weight, great threat for our secondary**
2b-Kevin Barnes-CB/Maryland(6'1,188)
**heres where Parcells theory,"bigger, stronger, heavy" comes in**
3-Aaron Kelly-WR/Clemson(6'5",190)
**I previously had him at 2b,but NFLCD.com has him slipping**
4-Dorell Scott-DT/Clemson(6'4",320)

**He has the size to play in our 3-4 scheme**
7b-Michael Jones-WR/Arizona State(6'4",203)
**really a project,but i like his size,and runs a 4.55 unofficial**
7c-Jason Willams-OLB/Western Illinois(6'3",235)
**he will give some depth at LB...had 107 tackles,8 sacks a year ago**
here is NFLDCD.com,so you can see these, and the rest of the 09n prospects...
