The commentators are giving our receivers especially Chambers alot of slack for not stepping up.....

Let me say that Chambers has shown great signs of being at best a decent # 1 kind of receiver and at worst a great # 2, but something that the commentators fail to comment on is that every time that Gus throws the ball to Chambers it's overthrown and we're not talking by a little bit (except for the pass in Buffalo). It's like Gus thinks he's still got Moss running the routes. Chambers does drop a few (that is his negative).

Booker good possesion receiver and he also has a few drops.

McMichael can't say anything bad about Randy except for the domestic assault's.

Welker reminds me of Oronde, great possesion receiver.

Our problem as everyone knows, I'm not coming out with breaking news here, it's our QB, at the end of the season we must address QB either through draft (Leinart, Jacobs) or FA (Brees, Rivers, Carr).

Our O-Line and our DB's are a different thread...........

I hope we get Brees or Carr or Leinart. If we do and we give them 1-2 years in the system I think we could be in serious playoff contention.

you are doing good , for you hit the head on the nail oh wait it ' the other way around but i agree with your assesment of our receiving corp. I beleive we better draft a wr and a qb plus we may need tto cut ricky if he doesnt play any better then he did tonight. if it was up to me i would trade booker and gillmore to san deigo and a draft pick for rivers. then i would draft
2 cbs 2 olmen, 1 safety, 1 rb 2 linbackers.

I may be one of the few nowadays, but I still see alot out of Chambers. I mean he dosnt have 10 yard arms to catch those passes. I remember a radio interview in the off season where Chris said that he wanted to see Sage taking snaps, hope he gets his wish, then he wont need 10 yard arms. Sage may not be the answer, but can he do worse then last years A.J, or what we have see so far from Gus ?
