What do you think are going to be the keys for us to get a victory against a Buffalo team is isnt looking too bad?

Heres mine:
1-Contain Marshawn Lynch
**Being from the bay area i'm a lynch fan. But we need to contain him and make Trent Edwards beat us. I want us to prove that he isnt as good as many think.
2-No dumb mistakes
**We need to bring the false starts, holding, roughing the QB penalties to a hault. We dont have a good enough passing game to get 15 yards for a first down. We also dont have a good enough defense to give up free first downs.
3-Hold the Bills on 3rd downs
**With Marshawn and two speedy receivers chances are the Bill will get plenty of 3rd and short situations. WE NEED TO STOP THEM.
4-Collapse the pocket in the middle.
**The Bills have good tackles and we need to blitz in the middle to rattle Trent Edwards.
5-Effective play from our WR
**We dont need to have 1 reciever have a huge game but rather a great game as a WR core.
6-Solid Rushing Attack
**The Bill dont give up too many rushing yards, but we need to find a way to the RXR express rollilng. I say attack cause I think we need to play aggressive and want to run over people rather than try to run around them.

Prediction: Miami-20
Buffalo-13

IMO the underlined will be the biggest key to beating the Bills. Our Phins will have to bring pressure hard and often in order to keep Edwards from getting comfortable and allowing him time to find Evans. Hopefully Sparano and Co. put our secondary on notice this past week.

One Key that is not listed that I think will be a HUGE factor will be the turnover factor. Miami has got to create turnovers while maintaining their game (we only have 4 TO on the year so far).

He probably will :boohoo:

Here are mine:

1. Stop the run.
2. Run the ball well.
3. Stop the pass.
4. Pass the ball well.
5. Play good special teams.
6. Don't let them play good special teams.
7. Don't turn the ball over.
8. Make them turn the ball over.

The BILLS have yet to be tested w/pressure on the QB and a good run "D". I look at who they've played and what they've done, and I'm not overly impressed. They DO beat the teams that they're supposed to beat, which is a credit to their Coach, but they're nowhere near being a top shelf juggernaut. They can certainly be had.

I agree. I am sitting here watching a replay of the Bills/Rams game and was just wondering why all the hype over these guys...they really aren't very impressive. Edwards is playing average...the D is OK...but nothing special. The teams they have beat are on the list of the worst teams in the league...Seahawks, Rams, Raiders, and the Jaguars...the only real team they beat were the Chargers, and hey, we beat them too!!! Their loss was a big one 41-17 to the Cards...been there, done that...

We can beat these guys as long as we don't make any stupid mistakes...i.e. turnovers. If we play solid football, we win.

Here it is.

Raiders and Rams both gave our line some issues with exotic pressure packages. AZ saw that snad brought alot of them..... What happened Free shot on Trent knocking him out and costing the game. YES that one play was the start of the downfall in AZ

So that being said. Exotic Blitz Schemes. (SD did not get any pressure, is the line fixed or no that is a question)

Play mistake free ball, this is obivious, but I do not think the Fins have enough firepower to win when they are making mistakes.

I would say win the TO margin, but after watching Trent come From behind twice for wins not sure how much that helps, So that being said YOU MUST GET TDs OFF TOs.

Finally Run the Ball, do not put the ball into check-down Noodle at the end of the game when you need a game winning drive, we just need to sit on his 10 yard routes and PICK 6 in the making. Remember first Jets game last year against the Bills a PICK 6 sealed it.

EDIT: Extend drives as well, this will be difficult seeing the Bills are the Best DEF in the league right now on third down.

This is a recipe to beat every team in the league. Play a perfect game.

We beat the Jags on the road and the Chargers without trickery.....we are legit!

Maybe you should try something else. That scenario hasn't worked too well so far against the Bills as Edwards has repeatedly killed teams with his passing game, and Miami's secondary isn't that great.

I was not a Trent Edwards fan at the start of the season, but he's made a believer out of me! Edwards is NOT like just about any 2nd year QB you've seen, and I'm talking top echelon young QBs not Tavaris Jackson. You have to keep reminding yourself that he's played less than 16 games.

4-Collapse the pocket in the middle.

The Chargers couldn't do that with the Bills playing their backup center, Duke Preston, last week. Edwards had all day to throw, and even when he didn't, he was able to get rid of the ball, never taking a sack. He also doesn't get rattled easily. Besides, blitzing against a QB with a quick release leaves your secondary nekkid and exposed when the blitz doesn't get there!

Paul Soliai needs to get his head out of his fat rearend and start playing like the player he is capable of being!!!! We need him now more then ever with Ferguson hurt

Here's mine
Score lots of Touchdowns
Don't let them schore any
Sounds pretty simple for me, I like it!

No, of course, requires the defense to play well and concentrated the whole game, and try to score everytime we gets the opportunity. But esspecially the coverage needs to be great in this game.
