Miami all quiet

That source is the Denver media who have been spewing the most ridiculous statements for the last 2-3 days. Don't believe a word they say. Armando tweeted that the Dolphins are in lockdown mode to the point that they are not even answering his emails or texts. The local beat reporter can't get any info out of the Dolphins. Armando didn't say they said , " No comment" or whatever, they won't even acknowledge his existence. So, that means something is up, and obviously very sensitvive for them to behave so secretively.

I agree in essence with the OP. This time they are going to play it close to the vest. They do not want ot get played by the media again like it always happens. I think we have a real chance at Peyton, probably the best chance if you ask me. i'm just a little concerned that he didn't do any workouts for any teams. How serious were these trips??? They sure smells like smokescreens.

And let's not forget, there will probably be 5 franchise 1st round QBs next year.

"Suck For Luck" was going so well, until the team woke up and ruined any chances of drafting a franchise QB this year. (I'm not specifically targeting Luck; just that we could've had a top 3 draft pick.) We've waited so many years for a QB, that one more won't hurt. If the above is true (multiple good QBs in next draft), then I'm all for sticking with Moore (and possibly Henne!), and filling holes through Free Agency and the draft. This way we'd have a stronger supporting cast for a new QB next year. But, I'm sure not many will agree with me. Manning is nothing but a stop-gap, and Flynn is a 7th rounder who does not deserve a huge contract on the basis of 2 games.

It is pretty sure that the media has no idea what Manning is thinking and are just throwing poop at the wall and seeing what sticks, his "favored" destination changes with each visit, Omar is a joke, two days ago he was all over twitter telling phins fans to relax, the last 24 hours he has been the biggest pessimist of all. The only one who knows what Manning is thinking is Manning. The rest is crap.

I find it funny that when Mort posted the other day that it was 85% that Miami was going to get Manning and most people on here where talking about believing Mort and he knows what he is talking about. But when he reported today that the Cards and Broncos were the favorites people said that he never knows what he is talking about. Roller coaster ride continues!

I firmly believe that NONE of them know what they are talking about.

I firmly believe that if the FO doesnt score Manning they'll pretty much STILL look like fools, regardless of how 'close to the vest' they've kept it. This is all about results, and if they get none well... how is it that they're magically "cool" because they were silent in the closing days? That's a copout. They need Manning and want him badly, everyone on this planet knows it. If they dont get him, they failed yet again. Simple as that. No amount of "no comments" will save them here.

If there is no meeting or if he came out and told them he wasnt interested how is that a failure on their part? If he dosent come here yet we still get a QB its not a failure...people kill me always wanting to blame Ross or Ireland...WE DONT KNOW JACK ABOUT WHATS GOING ON...

Well like I said, if he signs with Denver it's because the Dolphins didn't want him. Manning would have signed the day he met with our team, but it looks like Ross is going with his gut feeling again just like when he vetoed Kyle Orton.
