March 2, 2007-The Miami Dolphins today tendered four of its restricted free agents, including safety Yeremiah Bell (pictured), punter Donnie Jones, quarterback Cleo Lemon and wide receiver Wes Welker. Bell, Lemon and Welker were tendered at the level of second-round draft choice compensation. Jones was tendered at the level of his original draft status (7th round). Good. A second round tender should be enough to scare off other teams and nail down Miami's young players.
Looks like Miami wants to keep Lemon. Miami is probably not drafting QB in the first couple rounds this year unless they get a steal.
