Miami are 7 point Favs Vs the Jillsers

Buffalo looked ok today. Nothing spectacular and Losman still looks green, but they aren't going to make fools out of themselves too often this year. I couldn't believe how many disasters they avoided on offense, only to recover and make something positive out of it.

Their defense gave Brady fits all day, but suffered some hits when Takeo Spikes and Troy Vincent went out with injuries. I am sure they are back next week, but they may be slowed a bit (I believe both were hamstring injuries.)

thoughts?

My thoughts are that I feel we will win but no way would I put money on it giving 7 points.

I love it! I wish they made us 10 point dogs.

the first 2 plays were horrible, but they somehow made it a positive.

if anything i think JP played very well, except for the safety, and he has improved a lot since last season. he had no INTs, and threw well.

our passing D is good, but our run D is soft, just like last season. spikes going down hurt. Coy Wire starting REALLY hurt, i saw seveal missed tackles by him.

even though we lost, im not as pissed as i usually am. i saw several good things that make me feel a lot better about this season.

I think he played fine on the safety, he tried to escape and cross that line, but just barely missed. HE did look better then he has in the past, and that has to be encouraging. Homer aside, I think the miami D is a little tougher ( at least the front 7) so it too will be a good gauge on how he handles pressure.

The conference games are my favorite, and this one stands to be a good one as well. One team will bounce back and the other team, regardless of play, will have its fans freak out.

I disagree, they played the Pats close (in their stadium), and anybody that does that is playing good football. If we dont play to the best at our ability we will loose to the Bills. They have a fast defense. Hoping for win! Go fins!:dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:

New England isn't the team they used to be and isn't an unbelievable thing to beat them at home, you also have to remember that Bruschi was missing on their defense.

Gotta tell you, those Bills are not the cake walk I was hoping for. They pretty damn good. It's as simple as this, if they make that 4th down conversion and go uo 24-7, or just go for the field goal (20-7), I think the bills win. They played a great Pats team on their turf and almost (should have) beat tham. Fast swarming defense. Fletcher annd Spikes are animals that I hope our line can hold up when they blitz. Gonna be a good one. We'll have to play well to beat them.....and I think we will. It just won't be easy as I hoped for.

goes to show NE aint the top dogs around anymore, buffalo comes into NE and should have beat them. granted i dont think buffalo is that good, although they have a good fast swarming D that i love (OSU fan). miami will prolly win but i think the biggest statement is that NE isnt all that they were in the past. congrats to buffalo for exploiting that.:D

BUF is NOT that good on OFFENSE that is ....

Their DEFENSE IS GOOD ....

The PATS were lucky to win that game ... and if we don't control their running game, it could be ugly ...

My GUESS is that we win by 4 .... 7 is a LOT even if it is at home .... we aren't were we need to be just yet !!

seems about right, we are at home and we hung tough with the world champs... 7 pts is about right

7 points sounds about right to me i think it is going to be a good game! I love opening up the season at home with a division game! Cya at dolphin stadium!
