Eckel is a player. Sabans kind of guy. If he would have cleared waivers he would be on NE practice squad.
 
Edwards and Richard both Sucked. All we have is Madison, Daniels, Howard and the new guy we just got off waivers. This is scarey, do we see a vet like Bobby Taylor getting signed soon?

Is Heller considered a good blocker?

Is this Carolina DB going to be Reggie Howard II?

The FB seems decent, but I thought we dont even use a FB in this offense. Will he be a sort of short yardage back, maybe?

dude, stop with the Bobby Taylor.....he is finished, he wouldve been signed by some team by now if he offered anything

Heller is really a pass catching Tight End not considered a blocker but he might be average blocker I dont remeber watching him block so I cant comment. Seems Linehan is loading us up with Te's who catch but cant block

and you dont seem to realize that signing a 32 year old corner with knee problems that has no clue how this D is run offers us nothing!

If knowing how to run the D was a priority, we wouldnt be cutting 2 of our potential corners 5 days before our first game.

Obviously Saban and Mueller do not have a clue what they are doing. Perhaps you should offer your services in the pro personnel dept to help them out before it's too late and they completely screw up our roster. :eek:
 
i guess saban figures if we get an injury he can play bell in the nickle and dime packages, bell is better in coverage than the 2 corners we cut
 
Man, quit the sarcasm. Last I checked this was a message board.. where one can give their opinion on matters involving the team.

And you cannot argue that at first glance, at the very least it is a huge downgrade at CB- at least in terms of DEPTH! Unless there is another move coming (but there cant be since there werent many notable CB releases), we are VERY thin at CB. The other moves I guess are lateral (DT might be improved, TE is at least more experience) and it seems this FB is a gamer (prob a good ST-maybe replacing Bua there?), but the CB depth scares the hell out of me right now.
