Miami/Bills prediction and why……

I think the bills win. If the defensive front gets no pressure on allen and the secondary plays like then did sunday, might be another blowout.

The op is correct. But we still haven't lost 2 in a row.

We don't know what bills team is going to show up.

I do however like our chances at home.

Phins 27 bills 26

I be awake Sunday at 11 o'clock. Either I will have a good night sleep or not.

Go phins

Franchise altering game..
If we lose and get boat raced like 41-14 this hc and staff will not recover. Not this season and not next. This will follow them around and it will too heavy.

If we somehow clean it up, get a dub and win a playoff game the narrative is flipped once again

I think last week is going to happen again sadly. I really hope I am completely dead wrong.

So much at stake
Narratives....

Heres the thing about that. They don't flip, by nature. They are a static item, binary, either right or wrong. At the end of the season you will have your answer, but they have never changed. Some new narratives get spun up perhaps after old ones are wrong (Dallas) sure, but they would be new nonetheless.

The team that wins the turnover battle, emerges with the victory. If the turnovers are equal, I think this could be a last possession type game.

It's hard to feel confident about Miami after losing Chubb and Howard to go along with Waddle etc. Can the Dolphins get enough pressure on Josh Allen? As good as he can be, Allen will usually give teams some chances. That said, it's rare that he doesn't have his A game against Miami.

Tua went four games without a turnover heading into Baltimore. He made a couple of ill-advised passes (one with triple coverage) that really hurt the team versus the Ravens. He can't do that or the Dolphins will lose this one.

The defense needs a big rebound as well.

All the momentum seems to be with Buffalo. They have to be feeling good after being 6-6 a month ago. The Bills also are a lot healthier than Miami.

I think our offense will be able to move the ball efficiently against their defense and put up enough points to potentially win. My concern is Allen running roughshod over our defense. If that happens its gonna be lights out. The defense has to show up.

Fair. I guess it's more the ongoing of what we are witnessing and what the outcome is expected to be.

Said like this I guess it's more my own narrative in terms of what I think and bring a fan of this team for 30 years what I have been predisposed to expect to happen.

I’d pick a healthy or even semi-healthy Dolphins team to win this weekend, but I’m just not confident without Waddle, Hunt, Williams, Phillips, Chubb, Howard, Baker and whichever player or 2 goes down in this game. This is the matchup where we REALLY need Chubb/Phillips. Asking too much from AVG.

Assuming Mostert is back, we have to run heavy. We need to make this an ugly battle of field position and not turn over the football. Josh Allen turns it over against every team but the Dolphins, so I’m counting on that fortune to flip. Those opportunistic moments will be our best. You do have to take your shots though.

If this is a high scoring affair then I’m worried that Josh Allen will go wild and destroy what’s left of this defense. Not sure we have the firepower without Waddle and the issues on the OL to keep up.

I do agree that an ugly home loss here with all that’s at stake won’t bode well for the future outlook of this staff/team, especially if that’s followed up with a loss in the playoffs to an underwhelming Chiefs team.

The Bills were absolutely dreadful on offense in the first half against NE, ask any Bills fan or go to their forums, they haven't been sharp. Their defense is missing Milano and Edmunds but they are still playing pretty decent, Hyde and Epenesa are nursing some injuries.

The Dolphins without Chubb and Phillips, will have to blitz more this game and make Allen feel uncomfortable, letting him sit in the pocket will be a death sentence.

24-20 Dolphins.

Buffalo is playing their best football of the season, we are playing our worst and have way too many injuries. The Bills are used to winning important games, we are not. Bills 35 Dolphins 21

This is the kind of game where coaches earn their money and build their reputations. So, if McD is a genius and the right guy to stick around as the head coach for a decade-plus, and if Fangio is truly one of the best defensive coordinators in football, then it is time to prove it.

Come out and do something different than what the Bills have on tape. Give them something that they haven’t prepared for and gameplanned.

If we have another week where McD and Fangio expect to play their game and impose their will while not adjusting, then we will lose. It will be the same old story of the opposing defense taking away the intermediate-to-deep middle and disrupting our timing by getting hands on our receivers. We’ll react by throwing screen after screen. It’ll be an opposing QB facing a four-man rush and soft coverage and Diggs matched up with Kohou and Apple.

I don’t have any faith in Fangio and this defense to stop Allen. Allen curb stomps us every time he plays us. If we want to win the game we will have to win it in a shootout or we will get boat raced again like last week.

I’m really torn on if we can even hang in a shootout at this point. I really liked to think that Tua and Tyreek and Mosert and the other guys on the offensive side of the ball will have a fire lit under their ass to pull this one out.

Heart says 38-35 phins.
Brain says 40-21 Bills

Team has too many critical injuries to play defense at a playoff level.

I don't believe that the offense can carry the team with OL being so decimated, Tua has not shown he is a Marino level QB, one that can carry a team.

This will be a loss I suspect...
