Miami bringing in Reuben Foster for workout

He was released from the 49ers after several arrests and at the time of his release, Shanahan stated he was a difficult player to trust.

He hasn’t played in three years but hopefully he has matured and his illegal activities are behind him. I doubt he has much to offer after not playing for three years and having had a serious knee injury but I guess they figure they have nothing to lose bringing him in for a look.

He isn’t the high character type of player I prefer but I’m not the person making decisions on who they sign or bring in for visits.

Right. A character bust so far. But who knows, maybe he's matured. Definitely was talented coming out of Alabama.

Would it not be sad if this guy came in and became our best LB. Cause it could happen
Actually it wouldn’t be sad at all. Baker and Phillips are both very good LB’s, while Foster would be competing against Roberts at the inside LB position. So while I doubt he would be the best LB on the team. He just has to be better than Roberts to be able to make the team and upgrade the LB unit.
