Miami Claims Yamon Figurs, but loses out

Freaking Lions put a claim on him. Obviously they have priority. Freaking SOBs. Mark Jones is still out there.

In a way Im happy to know me and the organization see eye to eye. Cause I was dying for Miami to claim him. Also Brian Williams remains unsigned and I would for the Fins to sign him so we can kiss Allen *** goodbye.
 
Do you really think Brian Williams is going to sign here as the #5 CB? Jason Allen is a fine special teams guy and backup.
 
I dont think Brian Williams will sign o be the 5th CB. I think he has the ability to be are nickle CB if not push Will Allen to play Nickel. He defitnely makes our Secondary better and knocks out Jason Allen
 
So where does that leave Vontae Davis? As our fourth CB? Get serious. There is no way this regime gives a washed up veteran significant playing time that belongs to our first round draft pick.
 
Would Justin Miller be the next logical claim for KR? Not sure if anyone has put a claim on him or not.

I like Ginn as KR, but we can't afford for him to get injured. And Bess is reliable for never turning the ball over, but he isn't really a "threat" on punt returns.
 
Dolfan1000 if you did not know Nathan Jones is Miami nickle Corner. Jones I love on blitzing situatuion but his cover skill are suspect. Who would you prefer in there Jones or Williams just asking.

IMO we dont need a threat we need a guy who when able to catch the ball does just that catches it and keeps a high avg something Bess showed he was able to do. We are not going to have a Devin Hester or Josh Cribbs fall in our laps.

If that's what we needed, then the FO wouldn't constantly be trying different guys there. Hartline, Chris Williams, couple others probably. And then the claim put on Figurs. They aren't doing all that to just do it..
