Miami close to signing Crabtree

Thanks for posting BueFin I just have gotten to the point that I don't trust Clayton anymore. I guess we see what happens over the next few days and if anyone reports more information.

I'd like to see it. Him or Jennings would fit for me.

We need a vet in the WR group. I would be happy with either him or Jennings, but l lean towards Crabtree based on his age and the "hope" that he continues to get better from the achilles injury.

Me too as long as his medical checks out. I'd prefer an incentive-laden deal that requires him to be on the field a certain percentage of games. A veteran who can teach our younger players, big guy, great hands and a threat in the red zone and over the middle. Exactly what we need.

He's a good complement to Landry and Stills.
couple that with Gurley/Miller backfield and Jordan/Sims at TE and you have a pretty formidable offense.
Gives Lazer a lot of flexibility.

I'm not opposed to this signing.

It's not a sure thing, but he's a good fit for what we want to do on offense. He plays bigger than his size suggests and has great hands. The speed is a downer but he'll come in and he should contribute.

NFL Network has a Crabtree segment "Coming Up".. It is now 9 oclock eastern time

As I have been saying, if we sign another WR in FA look for us to draft Gurley or Gordon. All signs are pointing that way unless Cooper or White fall to us.

So long as the deal is short and there isn't much guaranteed $, this would be a solid get.

O Tannenbaum! O Tannenbaum! How lovely are your signiiiiiiings.

Crabtree isn't spectacular, but he should be a good possession receiver and he is known as a decent blocker as well. Also those numbers look pretty reasonable as well if it's a multiyear contract.

Landry/Cameron(healthy)/Crabtree/Stills would probably rate as a better starting core for Tanny than last years group overall.
