Miami Does Not Make First Pick

this theories of letting the clock run out make me sick..

The whole idea of it is stupid. The Dolphins have MONTHS to figure out who they think is the BEST player in this years draft so they can pick him, and they are going to let the clock run out and be forced to chose someone after the Rams pick? And possibly Atlanta? Why? That's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. And trust me, the agents will have a field day with that, arguing that Miami had the #1 pick so that player should be getting #1 money.

Expect Parcells to focus on fixing the problem no one before him has been able to fix. Ryan has everything a team could want in a quarterback, and his exceptional intelligence and intangibles will make the decision easy for new GM Jeff Ireland. Being a Pennsylvania native like Marino certainly won’t hurt Ryan, either. If the Dolphins do not take the only sure thing at quarterback in free agency or the draft, it would be a shocker.
 
It just isn't going to happen....no way we decide to "not pick" when we are on the clock. It would seriously piss off the Commish and every team that is picking after us. We either trade down or make the overall first pick, end of story.

It's not the stupidest thing I ever heard, in fact it would be kinda smart if the dolphins felt that the player they want all along will be there in the second pick or even third overall pick, it's all about money. However you are so right on the #1 money theory as far as agents are concerned. That is the very reason why it won't happen.
