wow, this is going to be tough, especially for qb, bc we had no stability at that position whatsoever in the 2000s. our longest tenured qb was fiedler but many ppl wouldnt want to put him as qb of decade for us fins, so i dont no who its going to be.

Just pick the guy with the best season.
Pennington.
would be my choice. Then again i barley watched fielder play.

truthfully, i mean i guess give the nod to penny bc he came in here with little understanding of our playbook, and had very little time to prepare, and carried a 1-15 team to 11-5 and divison champs, but i feel like jay fiedler was disrespected.

was he great? not by any means. but under jay fiedler we had winning seasons every year aside from 04, and u cnt rlly blame him for 0-4 bc of that whole mess with ricky all the sudden, and he didnt even complete the 04 season. he was gutsy for us, he made some big plays, and i just feel like we under appreciated him.

obviously he didnt put up the sexiest stats, but he did win, and if it werent for our defense choking every year in december, or wanny giving the pats the 02 season finale game, we make the playoffs every year with him. i would give it to him bc he had the most stability for us as sad as that seems.

Some of these names hurt me to say.

QB-Fiedler
HB-Williams
FB-Polite
WR1-Chambers
WR2-Booker

These are the statistical leaders in their respective areas, like it or not, and explains alot of this painful decade.

Williams and Chambers were very talented unforunately Fielder was a backup playing starter

Marino actually played his last game in the playoffs in 2000. So I go with
QB-Marino

lol although it was my least favorite dolphin game ever. I rushed home from work to watch it and it was already 24-0.

Would you really count Marino considering that we got torched by the Jaguars 62-7 and he was benched for the whole second half....Hate to say it as much as I like Dan Marino, but he doesn't belong in the 2000 decade team.

He had the beautiful drive in Seattle (last game at Kingdome) to win that game. I will never forget that 4th down play back deep in our territory. A friend was at that game, and took some pics. He also gave me the program. Marino's last win and last game at the Kingdome...Pretty cool.

I am being sarcastic. I would have to go with (lump in my throat) Fiedler with Penny a close second. Henne is my favorite so far, but hasn't got us to the playoffs. I think Ferotte deserves an honorable mention, he played pretty well and got a raw deal.
