Miami Dolphins 2014 2nd round pick- Jarvis Landry

"...since running in the 4.7 range at the combine, Jarvis Landry seems to be the forgotten receiver. Although Landry lacks Beckham's explosiveness and speed, many in the NFL feel he is a better route runner, has significantly better hands and is more NFL ready in terms of polish, field awareness and consistency. That is not to say that Landry will be selected ahead of Beckham, but a handful of NFL teams have expressed to me that they are targeting him in the late second or early third round because they feel he can have the type of immediate impact that Keenan Allen did for the Chargers last season."

He plays alot bigger than his size would indicate. I didn't thnk he was 5'11 but he fights for balls and seems to have good YAC. I am liking this pick after trading down twice.

Guys he had more yards than Beckham last year. If you read the Panthers article above you will see his stats put him in unique company.

This is a playmaker - just not the type to catch 80 yard passes

I read that he strained his hamstring running the 40.. So that could have hurt his time. He improved at the pro day, not by a ton but not quite as abysmal

Those who keep harping on his 40 time dont understand football. He will be a great slot receiver. Many great players drop because of substandard measurables. Guy has great hands, great quickness and attacks the football. We dont have anyone on our roster with his skill set. He will make RT's job a lot easier.

Landry was an ok pick but the guy is molasses slow while not being big. He's a good pick in the 4th round but as a second round pick I would have much preferred someone who had a lot more upside. I hope he makes it but there's reason every slow guy doesn't become Anquan Boldin.

1 drop all season?? That's a welcome change. Boldin analogy?? Wow! Now Tannehill has 3 dependable receivers plus Wallace and Mathews so long as the line keeps him upright. Well actually 4 counting Clay. Guess it's adios to Binn. Nice pick..but then again we could have had Hyde.

We got ourselves Anquan Boldin! All the negative nancies chill out , this guy is going to be a boss!

His unofficial times have been clocked at 4.49, 4.58, 4.65.....BEFORE the combine.

I'll take 1 drop in his last 103 catches for a SLOT WR OVER .2 seconds of speed ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.

This is an incredible pick. He will be our new Devone Bess in the slot.

LOVE IT. Hickey could have gone need and instead he went BPA after trading down twice. Way to go!
