Miami Dolphins 2014 2nd round pick- Jarvis Landry

He is not only slow, he was the slowest wr at the entire combine. At 5-11

Yes he produced playing with a great offense. Still a terrible pick. Slowest, as in none at the entire combine were slower. He didn't only do bad, he failed miserably

He ran a 4.77 a the combine, but the tape tells a different story. He has a burst, and watching him play I'd never think 4.77, I don;t have an idea how that happened, maybe an injury- beats me. But the dude can run, has that burst and quicks, pretty good size and tough as nails, excellent hands and great ball skills, cagey. Interesting pick, a flat out football player.

Much better pick this time. Moving down twice to add more picks and grab a talented player who fell b/c of an off the field metric.

Love the pick myself. Doiung what we need to do,fixing the O-line first was PRIORITY,then attack the needs and get play makers which I think this guy is. From what I saw of him at LSU he looked good, and no Im not a LSU fan either. Still I like the way We are drafting so far,NEEDS,IMMEDIATE needs first !

Anquan Boldin was slow too right? Some of the your best WRs had weak 4o times. Sometimes the 40 can be overrated. So many times our WRs let us down with big drops, but landry catches everything, plays big for his size and great ball control, so he can help fins probably get tds in endzone, because it sounds like he plays big. I like the pick after reading about him and hearing about him. Trent dilfer said his play is like anquan boldin though not boldins size. But seriously, I think most of us would love a young anquan boldin like player with his tenaciity.

Y'all ****ing bitch and moan about every ****ing pick.....

Better than blindly defending everything when we suck every year

5-11 and slow and not a position of need. I wonder how even homers could defend this.

He produced playing with a great qb and a first round receiver drawing all the attention on the other side. Doesn't do enough to make up for absolutely hideous numbers.

SO ****ING PUMPED!!

OK, you guys have picked me up here. I feel much better. I'm still not in love with a normal 40 range between 4.55-4.65, but guys who attack the ball and make plays are what football is all about.

Sweet

Hickey said when he interviews players he asks who was an opponent who stood out. "Jarvis Landry's name keep coming up."

how was this pick known 10 minutes before it happened?

What ever your watching is delayed.... I get the samething, Im talking to my friend on the phone and i hear the pick 10 minutes before I see on my tv.

He's not slow, he was nursing an injury to his hamstring during his runs. It is a position of need if you happen to notice two current receivers are rehabbing serious injuries. He put up good production and he is tough and physical, something Miami lacks at WR.
