This has widely been described as a weak year for Free Agency. Indeed, most of the supposed top targets have been vastly overpaid for what they bring to the table.

It may be that the team just doesn't think these players are worth the contract amounts that they are receiving.

So let's get specific... which of the now signed FAs would you have been willing to offer 10-20% more? ...and would this player be a scheme fit for us?

...and finally, do you think this player would be worth enough to us in order for us to restructure the players needed to pay them?
