In the losing streak, the Dolphins have committed 53 penalties (10.6 per game) penalties for 76.4 yards per game and have a minus-8 turnover differential. They’ve committed 12 total turnovers: eight interceptions and four lost fumbles. They’ve also gotten away with four other fumbles that they managed to recover.
Over the last five weeks, that turnover total is the worst in the NFL and the number of penalties is second-worst. That makes the Dolphins the most careless team in the league, though Buffalo is making a run at supplanting them.

This can been seen with the naked eye and is losing Tanny the cause? I find that hard to believe. Gase has to take responsibility.

Gase’s ego probably won’t let him take any responsibility for our failures and most here will just blame Tannenbaum anyway.

his pressers always talk about how well-prepared they are and how they try to clean things up. As much as I think it is coaching, our OL and DL are not very good and smart, and aside from being blown off the line and chucked away, they don't have a lot of technique and skill, so they hold and try to gain an advantage by moving early.

It seems to me this has been an issue for years before Gase came along.

How about the players be held accountable for their piss poor play?

There are far too many on this roster simply cashing a check, playing not to get hurt.

If the players wanted to win, they ought to play like it, coaching be damned.

Apparently they need to be told when to actually start blocking, when to rush, and what blocking in the back is every practice. It's not like they have gone over it a zillion times or anything. Fundamentals? We're NFL players. We don't need to stick to no stankin fundamentals.

I am waiting to see what off season moves are made, from all indications they are going to be major.

Him being hurt is part of it. Miami would be better with him than they currently are and that affects their psyche.

I knew there were some Tannenbaum fans still in hiding around here somewhere. There you are.

The QBs are turning the ball over...well Matt Moore especially since he's made two starts in the last few weeks. Drake, I was told on here, makes big plays every time he touches the ball...unfortunately those big plays have been for the other team. It's a lot of turnovers but the bigger issue is that the defense have caused very few this year. The only CB on this team with an interception has been Bobby McCain, who everyone hates around here and few people realize he's our best CB right now. I'd even go as far as saying McCain has been the only CB in position to make an INT this year. Howard and Tank have been in position to poke a few balls out while trailing the receiver but have never broke on a ball to pick it off or stepped in front of a receiver when he makes his in or out cut. Haven't seen it once this year from them. Kiko Alonso, who's only saving grace last year to me was his ability to cause turnovers, has done nothing this year.

So the high turnover rate by the offense is only compounded by the low turnovers caused by the defense. 12 turnovers by our offense, 4 turnovers caused by the defense in the last 5 games.

Hardly a TB supporter, our off season made no sense whatsoever to me but based on the way the team is completely unprepared to play game after game, half after half and the reason for the original thread, sloppy play, all falls on the shoulders of Gase.

Everything you list as issues and suggest is on TB I could counter that your list is a perfect example of poor coaching.

Again just different opinions.
