For a player the team considers its face and franchise quarterback, the indecision is extremely concerning. While some may call the team’s approach cautious for never ruling out surgery, the fact that it has taken so long for the team to make a decision on the best course of action is reckless to say the least.

The biggest issue I have with this is all of the team’s “other” strategies. Letting Tannehill heal himself obviously didn’t work. The next step appears to be plasma therapy which Tannehill is receiving in Germany. While the procedure is gaining steam especially with sports stars, should it fail to take or correct the issue for Tannehill, the Miami Dolphins will be in a tough spot.

I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV.

I choose to leave the medical decisions to the professionals. :idk:

Don't you think Tanny is personally on top of his issue as healing and playing are worth his career. After all, he is a smart wanna be doctor so I would imagine he has been part of the decision making. My worst fear is no surgery will develop into needing surgery during say training camp and he'll miss all of next season. I think we need to trust the process thus far as the decision making can't be all on Fins staff alone. I would think Ryan, family, agent etc. have been part of this from get-go.

i think they really want Tanny to be ready by OTA's and its REALLY too late to change course, if they were going to go the surgery route they should have done that when they figured to shut him down in favor of Moore. if he has surgery NOW, maybe October November before he's ready? nah we arent punting on the season

Don't worry Bump..I'll handle this..I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express,last night...

he can already play basketball (which i hope he doesn't actually do).

the MCL is more of an issue than the ACL.

The MCL will heal itself.

He will be ready to go for OTA's, regardless of the success of the plasma treatment (or any other treatments he gets).

Pouncey cant stay on the field
Misi can't stay on the field
Parker cant stay on the field
Albert can't stay on the field
Jones played with a busted shoulder for a while
Oline cant stay on the field
Jenkins cant stay on the field

THERE IS A THEME HERE!!!!

I kinda wish he'd have had the surgery just to shut up the fans here who know more about Ryan than Ryan, the medical staff, coaches and his family.

We know several are just waiting on a setback and then the sky will really fall....smh.

That a Not-Top 20 QB is considered the face of this franchise is just pathetic. Just a reflection of how dysfunctional our FO has been almost 2 decades now.

It's clown shoes if he needs surgery during camp or easily tears up his knee next year. We'll have to trust the medical pros until anything different happens.
