he Miami Dolphins are struggling mightily during their two-game losing streak. Miami has back-to-back losses against the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs by 19 points apiece. Therefore, the Dolphins have a plethora of issues to fix.

What is the Dolphins' biggest issue?

  • 44%
    Poor coaching

  • 27%
    QB Ryan Tannehill

  • 13%
    Dropped passes

  • 6%
    Poor tackling

  • 10%
    First-half struggles

But here is out latest poll question: What is Miami’s biggest issue so far in 2014?

Is it poor coaching? The Dolphins have plenty of talent, and certainly enough to avoid back-to-back blowouts to the Bills and Chiefs. Does that point to head coach Joe Philbin and his staff not maximizing the talent on the roster? There have also been issues with clock management and play calling on both sides of the football.

What about Dolphins starting quarterbackRyan Tannehill? He’s three games into an important Year 3 and appears to be regressing. Tannehill is on pace for a career-low passer rating (74.1) and completion percentage (56.5). He has not adjusted well to Bill Lazor’s new offense, which is very demanding.

Or is it the dropped passes? The Dolphins led the NFL in drops entering Week 3 and added three more in Sunday’s loss against the Chiefs. These are drive killers that eventually add up.

What about the poor tackling on defense? This has been an issue for the Dolphins since the preseason and continues to haunt the team. Miami’s defense is not a good tackling unit and need to get back to the fundamentals. The Dolphins miss too many tackles, which allows for extra yardage.

Philbin is #1 reason the team never starts games well under him

its one coaching. two is a mix of ryan and dropped passes. ryan has put the ball right on the money many times but the wr's drop a lot of passes. but again ryan isn't on the money a lot ether. and the d has been a problem at times too

All of the above.....but to put it in order, the passing game, both RT and the receivers (except for Wallace who I think is playing very hard) is a concern. The running game has exceeded our expectations. RT has not been good, and the dropped passes are drive killers that need to be fixed. You can tell the RT is looking for Wallace on almost every play.....yet we have Hartline, Gibson, Landry and the TE's who aren't figuring into the game plan very much. We aren't using the center of the field enough either...........

Coaching is a concern, but only to the extent that the players aren't executing. Is that coaching or on the players? I don't know....

It's coaching. The head coach is responsible for everything except picking the talent. We have talent, but the coach can't figure out how to maximize it. He can't figure out how to motivate higher-performance. He can't figure out how to hold players accountable. Most importantly, he can't figure out how to get the team to play with passion and urgency.

None of the above.

It's the adjustment time period needed for a new offensive scheme. Pretty simple really but the answers that people want now aren't available. Well, besides in silly polls.

It's a lot of things so coaching is involved in everything and hence, that's the biggest problem. You can't fired all the players so they need to start at the top.

bill lazor was the biggest head scratch.

coyle followed suit w/ DE coverage bs.

philbin followed up w/ not going for it on 4th and 1 on their 40.

yeah, ryan was not good, but lazor put him in spots not necessary. why do we not roll him out?

Dropped passes are the symptom of a new offensive scheme? Same with poor clock management?

The ghost of Jeff Ireland. He is responsible for both Philbin and Tannehill. They both suck.

De/lbers cover running backs all the time. Rolling out takes away half the field.
