''He was like a gym rat,'' Pasqualoni said. ``He loved to play.'' That was 16 years ago, in 1992, which means Pasqualoni has known Allen for half of the cornerback's life.
He watched him through high school. Then he coached him at Syracuse University, in the same town where Allen grew up.
And now, despite a seven-year detour, they have been reunited in the NFL.
