``We didn't get them prepared,'' he repeated. ``I'm not proud of standing up here saying that. Our fans deserve better -- this organization deserves better than that. We're going to make it better. I don't know the mood of the players right now, I haven't seen them. I am sure that, if I know them, they will be pretty quiet, because as I have told them, these things are not acceptable. It should hurt a little bit; if it doesn't, something is wrong.''

Good now go out there an kick the **** out of the Pats like Brees and Co. did last night.

That would be the best apology to this fan!

Real men and real teams learn from their mistakes, get up dust yourself off and split the series with your bitter rival!

Seriously, these statements are made by every single coach in the NFL after a loss and a devastating one at that. Do they have the same post game conference speech writer for all teams? I don't know about the rest of you, but I am tired of hearing " I take personal responsibility for _____", or " that is all on me and we have to get better" but yet I don't see anyone doing anything because the same crap happens the next week or two weeks later.

Why don't you just come out and say " these are the growing pains of a team that has gaps at key positions and we will work to fill them in the offseason". I mean be honest. Who cares if crowder or another players feelings get hurt. Man up little ***** and learn how to keep your job if you want to play in the NFL.

Because the guy making the statment is making just as many bone headed mistakes as our players. Follow the leader.

CP-- Because if he said that, there would be people on here screaming about him not taking responsibility or 'throwing his players under the bus'. We'd hear, 'team x is doing it with backups and scrubs!' instead. You can't win in this situation unless you, err, win.

What the hell do you want to hear? "Thay are who we thught they were", or "We let them off the hook", Get real man, if you are HC, it is you the responsible for all the things that happen on th field.

Coachspeak, Coachspeak, blah, blah, blah, produce on Sundays or get the HELL OUT OF TOWN, PERIOD.

Every press conference for anyone (not just athletes but politicians too) is so watered down and not at all what's really on their mind I don't pay attention to them. Our course the fans are disappointed. Rather than talk about it, change it up and win for christ sake.

He's 100% right. We are known as the team of mediocrasy. Year after year, we're just short of the playoffs, & in the middle of the draft board. And I believe this is why I see so much negativity & slamming of players/coaches. Not to mention the fighting amongst ourselves on here...haha. We're frustrated, & reasonably so. It's tough when we see our team have a fighting chance at the division and/or playoffs, & get it yanked away towards the end. Last year we made the playoffs & got hammered. So it's a tough thing to digest every year. We, more than any other fans, get filled with HOPE every year due to winning streaks or a game or 2 out of first but never getting over the hump. This year, going into Buffalo...HOPES were high bc with a win & a Pats loss, we're 1 out of first with a head to head match up next week, & we lost. It hurts, as we all know, but it's the consistancy of our average seasons that really twists the knife in. When we finally get our day in February...we will all enjoy it more than any Pats, Steelers, Colts, or Giants fan ever can. We are an elite franchise in sports & deserve better. We do go through a lot of siht every year...but above all else...we stay faithful & loyal to the Dolphins (well...most of us). One of these years will be ours, hopefully soon...

Me I don't want to hear anything! I want to see this them put their foot on another teams throat in the 4th QT and crush it. I want to see less stupid holding penalties and offsides. When it come to 3 minutes and needing a field goal I don't want to feel all is lost because Dan Henning can't run a hurry up offense to save his life! I don't want to see stupid timeouts in the first QT because we can't get the right players on the field or we don't have a friggin audible package in week 13 to counter a blitz!

Well tony i can not begin to explain how much respect you will get from us fans if you can beat NE and at least go 8-8. We understand we are still rebuilding and last year was a gift.

:proud: is there any fins fan that would disagree with this.
