Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano talks tough toward AFC East

Man it's time for us as a team to stop being timid and worried about what we say. If you're confident in yourself and teamates, tell anybody. Get in our opponents faces...show that swagger and bravado......Go out there knowing you're going to win and nobody can stop you. Doesn't have to be obnoxious, just confident...GET PUMPED GUYS! I stand behind what I'm hearing from Tony and Vontae today!
 
We have beaten both teams enough lately to let them know it won't be a walk in the park when we play them.
 
Coach Tony Sparano, channeling Al Pacino in Any Given Sunday, said his team isn't afraid of anyone in the AFC East this year.

"We're not going to back down from anybody in this division," he said. "I don't care who they are and who's out there, our team comes to compete every single week, and they have. This team will compete, and they'll compete at a high level in this division.

"I don't have a crystal ball. I can't tell you how this thing's going to turn out, but I can tell you the way this team works, the attitude I see, the ingredients that we have right now - all show me that this team is poised and ready to make a run at this thing.

"I think we're one of the good teams in this division, and I think anybody that doesn't believe that is probably going to make a big mistake."

This, to me, seems like Tony stepping up and showing he is done with conservatism. He's letting his team and everyone else know, we are coming to fight. He just needs to back it up on the field. Red zone Tony! RED ZONE!
 
well, didnt braylon edwards tweet to former fellow Jet LB's saying they are gonna have a hard time covering Bush?

What's Rex Ryan laughing about, everytime he puts his foot in his mouth (pun intended) about beating the Dolphins then gets owned for his troubles? If he's laughing cause he looks like a fat clown, then I agree.
 
If the head guy doesn't believe it the TEAM has no chance. Good stuff.

Also, Rex has no reason to laugh, because he has trouble beating the Dolphins. He is 1-3 against the Fins.

You should know better by now. This is like calling the Yeti out of the caves. You know it's going to sniff it's way in here and cause havoc
 
Like it or not but this is Tony's first year w/o Tuna pulling the strings behind the curtains...Henning was Parcells guy, pat white was Parcells pick...I happen to like Sparano but agree that we need to have results or he is going to go this year.

I would hope he's laughing at that ridiculous tattoo that was out of style circa 1995.
