Miami Dolphins coaches: Drama in Pittsburgh was comedy of errors

I would say once the circus act begins ( the laterals) plant the fast guy on the field! Perfectly legal just drill him take him out if equation?

If he's fast, break his legs. Genius.

Correct!!! Until the Dolphins fill up stadiums nobody wants us in the playoff. We dont have a big enough fan base for anyone to want us to barely make in the playoffs.

Yeah, its the fans fault we don't make it to the playoffs.

I saw a bunch of empty seats at Heinz Field as well.

I call a spade for a spade: You live in Carolina? North or South?

I give you a guarantee that for most Sundays you can get a rountrip ticket non-stop to FLL for around $200/$300 around the East Coast if properly planned especially in September, October and November. Fly in the morning and leave evening. You will spend as much time and money as the average tailgater.

But it is always the same: blablabla and nothing to back it up with.

I did my part -- went to the Falcons game, plunked down $350 per ticket for the VIP / Field Pass / Club seats, AND plunked down another $400 or so in damn merch when I was drunk : )

We won, and I have some cool new gear.

Reading comprehension helps... not once did I criticize S. Florida fans. I just said there are many more fans outside the state of Florida. After the Pittsburgh game while walking through Target in Atlanta a couple was all decked out in Dolphin gear. I've been to a few road games that I can drive to and the amount of Dolphin fans are absolutely crazy. In Arizona on that crazy Monday night game against San Diego the whole stadium was filled with Dolphin fans. It was the closest to a home game that I have seen on the road.

I'm glad S. Florida has great fans and if I lived there I would be at every game.

Apologies for coming off as brash, and I did read your original post and took it out of context, sorry about that. I just get tired of the shots at the local fan base when many of us do try our best to represent the team. I do realize there are many fans outside of the area who would love to go to the games and would go to the games if they lived in the area . . . I just hate when others generalize the area like we don't deserve a football team because we don't fill up a 70,000 plus stadium every week. Many of us down here do care and many fans down here spend tons of money on this team that people outside of the area don't have to worry about . . . . which is why I get defensive at criticism when the majority of the critics don't have to walk in the shoes of the ones they criticize.

I'd almost guarantee you there are more Dolphins fans outside of Florida than there are in it. 49 states to 1? Of course.

I wouldn't guarantee it, but obviously that seems accurate . . . Dolphins have a great fanbase nationwide . . . hell and also internationally.

Look, I don't give a **** if the fans in South Florida are 'great', 'not great', 'suck', 'don't suck' or whatever... All I know is the fans in South Florida need to get their asses down to JRS on Sunday, pack the place, and yell their ****ing faces off. That's it. End of story.

Will be easier said than done. I've ran into several Pats fans down here who have gotten tickets much earlier when the demand wasn't high, now Dolfans are trying to get tickets for the game on Sunday and the price has tripled. Like it or not, New England will be represented quite well on Sunday . . . . however I do think the place will be packed.

Why wouldn't you guarantee it? 49 states of fans compared to the southern part of one state? There is no way there aren't more fans outside of the state. It isn't even a bad thing!

Games vs. New England are usually pricey anywhere. It should be fine.

Cheap seats went from the high 30 dollar range to 110 dollar range after that win. It was quite interesting to watch.

As far as the fans, I don't doubt that there is more Dolfans in the 49 other states, especially when only factoring in South Florida, but when factoring the entire state I wouldn't be too sure. It would interest me to see some numbers, but yea it definitely isn't a big deal and I'm glad the Dolphins have a great following all over.

26 in the league in attendance. http://espn.go.com/nfl/attendance

2 power slams not called

one forward lateral not called

one prostate check directly in front of the officials not called

obvious td had to be challenged to get overturned

two helmet to helmet hits not called.

I am sure there is not a hidden agenda by the league and the officials
