Miami Dolphins free agency plans in order to build around Tua

Wr, ot should'be there number one target..dont let all good player get away sign w other team. Want see Grier step his games up..like other good Gm are doing..

Tua needs a Thurman Thomas running game and an early 90s Bills OL. He’ll carve teams up and it’s cold weather effective.

Do it!

You want him to make trades? Because FA hasn't actually started yet.

Disappointed we didn’t go after Amari Cooper. Yeah his salary is expensive but they paid nothing to trade for him and he was by far the best available wideout. Number ones in their prime don’t become available often. Maybe go after Allen Robinson and some linemen.

I wanted Cooper myself but the team isn’t spending 20 million on a WR. Going all in on signing 3 OL yes 3 and we may draft one too. I would predict Collins, Armstead and Tomlinson. Sign a guy like DJ chark or juju

I wouldn't mind. Other teams are making trades and improving their teams.

Or atleast attempting to lol.

Cooper is a perfect example. I don't necessarily think he's worth 20 million. But I think you stated it that some of us including myself are stuck in salaries from 4 years ago.

Mike Williams and Cooper are at 20 million.

So what's a guy like Kirk gonna get? 16? I would rather pay more for Cooper than a few million less for a Kirk.

But that's just my opinion. I know everyone's different.

I don't know how true the rumors are, but if DK Metcalf is available we should be on the phone.

Taylor Decker- 3 years left on the salary. Would be cheaper and younger than Armstead.

It seems like Miami is highly interested in everyone but doesn't pull the trigger.

We have a projected 112 million cap availability for 2023.

No reason we could take Coopers contract.

No one left, except maybe Chark will produce like Cooper.

So if Miami is serious about upgrading WR they need to not lose Chark over a couple million.

There's no reason with the most cap space we miss out on the top guy... if we are interested. We shouldn't settle for 2nd or 3rd best.

We may overpay, but with the increases in salary cap and projected cap we can afford to overpay.

Grier has done a great job to allow us to over pay for a couple or few top players this year.

You aren't wrong. I have given Grier his props for taking a hard approach to contract/trade negotiations, but perhaps he is taking "hardball" to the extreme. There comes a point where you just have to say "screw it", "bite the bullet", and "pay the price".

How's that for a trifecta of verbage...............

You'll be disappointed if you think we're getting 3 or 4 TOP players in free agency......I'm expecting one OL guy and a WR.......maybe a LB

We don’t have as much money as people would think and while we can make more room but cutting some players you'd still need to replace those players. Ideally I'd love two OL plus a WR and a LB or Edge but we'll see.

C-Jones and G Tomlinson would be nice. Then a mid level WR ( ju ju? ) and either a MLB or Edge.
Maybe 1 signing being TOP tier.

It's a pass on Cooper for me, I don't want that salary with his injury history and his usage on this offense. We have a true #1 receiver in Waddle with him possibly becoming top 5 in the league this year or next. I think the front office is targeting the OL and they will make sure the OL is not only solved but really really good.

see that's realistic right there. I can see something like that happening but some people think we're getting 4 pro bowlers in free agency and I don’t see that happening

Lol love IT

Agree. I've stated elsewhere I won't be shocked if Mia signs NO top (elite) players at any position. I do expect multiple top third talent if the players are interested, but I'm realistic enough I won't blame Grier solely if it doesn't happen. An above average OL and a legit #2 WR will help the O a LOT. That is my minimum expectation.
