do we need a de this year or are we ok there ? I recall that our dline and passing game was dead last but I am on boarded with Miami drafting a dt or even two dt's will be fine with me.
i would use f/a for wr, center, and safety and then draft linebacker , cb, and 2 dt's and maybe a de.

Faneca is old and not worth it long term, Brown is entering his prime years and will be worth every penny for the length of the contract. Sign him up!

I don't think it is as important to sign Scott, I really believe a draft pick could be the best answer for ILB.

i meant that if we could only get one i want Brown for that money for the same reasons you said. i rather sign brown and burrnett for cheap for ilb spot/depth. but ya i agree. i just dont want to sign both adn be in cap hell next year, not that we will go after any huge FA but it is good to be able to resign our own guys ect.
 
we need albert.... this is a 3-4 defense and i think getting a guy like him could be the difference between a good defense and a great one !
