Hmmmm....how can this be? Doesn't he know this is only one game and its the preseason so he should just let them off the hook? Didn't he plan it this way? I was told that this was the way that Sparano wanted it...so he could coach them up. Or, maybe not. Maybe he expected his starters to get out and perform much better and has no intention of tolerating substandard performances.

I don't know all about that, but it's Sparano, was he suppose to let them off that easy..it's a great chance for him to push them..and the next 2 weeks sure get them focus..but I still think they looked tired..
 
So Sparano can cuss them out for a crappy showing, but as soon as a Dolphan says essentially the same thing, he gets all lemming'd to death by the dolphan homers dutifully tanking his reputation bar.

I'm truly upset with the dolphan homers on this site and the way they've treated GeauxFinns and others who saw the same things Sparano cussed them out twice or three times over.

The mods ought to do a whole lot more about defending people who honesty try to speak their minds. If not, the lowest common denominator will rule.

C'mon mods. Step it up.

Make some changes where cranky homers can't kill a person who is only trying to reveal the Emperor's state of sartorial splendor-lack.

Sure, the coach is obligated to do that, and has some redeeming qualities in doing so.

You're right about one thing though, there should be a venting post game sub forum, so the main one isn't cluttered with angry fan speak which only serves to annoy the more level-headed fans.
 
Got to love Sparano's passion. Even if it is only pre-season, he's still determined to see the team put in a good showing and will give them a bollocking if they dont.

Noting wrong with always wanting 100% from your players.

i doubt Sparano would let his own kids off the hook if they messed up one play during backyard football. they'd get an earful as well.

I does not bother me though. I will speak my mind respectfully even when the mods allow the feeding frenzy.

I agree, Langer. I appreciate what LDaniel is trying to do, but its futile. Homerism is homerism and there is little that can be done about it. Some of us will continue to be objective and honest about this teams performances.

And its not like I havent been supported. I had been thanked like 19 times before I posted my thread. Thats more than doubled now. So some people, even though they understandably might not want to incur the wrath of the some of the more petulant posters, are supportive of honest assessments.

Whoever told you Sparano wanted the game to go this way is a total imbecile and moron...Lets go a complete half with only one first down(by penalty) and lets see our defense get run over and passed on at will by Tampa Bays first team.

I'm sure that was Tony's thinking!

What the hell is a "reputation bar?" I get confused with all this stuff. There's a thank you thigamajigger as well. I just post my thanks. To me, it's a better way to do it. What do I know?
