OK, I was reading the Jake Scott thread and got me thinking for my 500th post... This is for everybody but I hope I get alot of responses from older PhinFans....

What is your favorite moment in Dolphins history? Or even what is the most memorable moment... good or bad...?

Just to edumacate us youngns...

My history doesn't go back too far, but for me my favorite moment is the '00 playoff game in Marino's last season vs the Seahawks. Marino led a 4th Quarter comeback. His 2nd to last game, also the Kingdome's last game. Next week of course was possibily our franchise's worst game.

damn you beat me to it, I'm sure a lot of people will mention de jags game, but I'd rather remember that seahawks game and that great comeback by marino :dolphins:

Probably watching Garo Yepremium make the game winning field goal in the Christmas Day (1971) playoff game over the K.C. Chiefs in the longest game in NFL history (at that time). That was the game that catapulted the Dolphins on its way to greatness winning over the veteran and favored Chiefs. I was 9 years old and remember watching it with my parents and noticing that when the game started it was sunny outside and when it ended it was pitch black. But what a Christmas present for Fins fans!!

Honorable mentions:
Marino fake spike game over Jets
Miami v. San Diego 1981 playoff game (Winslow game)
Miami v. Jets 1982 AFC Championship Game (A.J. Duhe Mud Bowl)

... a great comeback moment to lead into an undefeated season? Kind of like a 6 game winning streak and an unbelievable 4th quarter comeback?............. hmmmm :D

Lots.

Larry Csonka bulling over Pat Fischer in the Super Bowl. Fisher must have been all of 5'8" and 180 and tried to arm tackle Zonk. He might as well have tried to arm tackle a locomotive.

John Offerdahl meeting Christian "The Nigerian Nightmare" Okoye dead in the hole in the middle of the line one one one. Okoye got knocked back on his tookus in his own backfield.

Dan Marino throwing a hard pass over the middle. Don't remember much about who caught it, or who it was against. What I remember is that on slow motion replay, they showed a big cloud of chalk dust coming off of the receiver hands as the football hit it.

Watching Ricky Williams break that 54 yarder that broke the Jets hex.

Worst moment of Dolphin's football ever. Clarence Davis catching that dying duck quacker from Stabler in the end zone to win the game in the 74 playoffs. Thought I was gonna die.

Most disappointed: Watching Clarence Davis end our run for a three-peat.
Most pumped: Watching Lamar Smith single-handedly carry our team to victory
Most amazed (tie): 1) Watching OG first catch a bomb, then the TD pass to beat the Colts, and 2) Watching CC catch two TD passes in the final minute and OT vs. Buff
Most memorable: Playoff game vs. SD and the "hook & ladder"
Most painful: Losing Zonk, Kiick, and Warfield
Most happy: Seeing that the achillis injury to Marino did not affect his arm
Most sad (ties): Seeing a few of my favorite players get hurt, the retire because of it: Offerdahl, Hugh Green, Tom Henderson

Just a few random thoughts...

Favorite moment is Marinos 1st game back from his acl injury against the Patsies 400 and some yards and a game winner to irvin fryar. Worst moment when the Chargers comeback against us in the 1994 playoffs 21 to 3 at half time something like that and we lost by 3.

louis oliver had 3 ints including a 103 yard td return against buffalo...

best.game.ever.

FAV GAME.......... That one is easy, When we beat the Bears to end their run at a perfect season. Everything went right that night. Pass that were deflected were caught for a TD. Marino was Great that nite and Clayton and Duper were great too.
