As expected, the Miami Dolphins interviewed Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy on Monday, as the team draws closer to making a decision on its head-coaching job.
McCoy has been in that position with the Broncos for three years, helping develop Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow, after nine years in various offensive roles (but not coordinator) with the Carolina Panthers.
Dolphins owner Stephen Ross flew from South Florida to New York after the interview and is expected to decide where the search should go from here.
