Miami Dolphins, Jeff Fisher close to signing, reports say ; Rosenhaus and Lombardi

I guess at this point I'm for hiring Fisher, but it's really kind of sad we have our sights and hopes on a guy who Coached for 16 years, has just over a 500% record, ad no Super Bowl wins and was fired from his last job.

I hope he is highly motivated to improve on the above if given the chance.

They need to hire someone soon to put a plan in place to allow us to make the playoffs next season.

Yep, and in his last 7 years not one playoff win (2 losses) and a combined record of 54-58 during regular season.

As much as we hate Saban, he was IMO the best coach we had since Shula. And I still detest him, but it is what it is.

Based on what? He was/is a very good college coach who couldn't cut it at the next level. He had a losing record in his 2 seasons AND (most importantly) he couldn't pick a franchise QB to save his life. He had the opportunity to draft Aaron Rogers, but instead chose a 23yr old running back who was only a part time starter at Auburn. He then doubled down on his ineptitude by signing Culpepper over Brees.

Saban is the WORST coach we've had since Shula.

Going with Culpepper over Brees set us back a LIFETIME! We could have had Brees break Marino's record in a Dolphin jersey! Thanks to Saban, we'll be QB- hungry for the next decade.
