The Dolphins made an offer to free agent cornerback Demarcus ***gins, and ''it's a possibility'' he could sign, agent Robb Nelson said. The Titans and the Browns are also in the mix.

Nice, I have always been a fan of the kid and he plays with a high motor and is real good special teamer. I still think Miami drafts a corner.

Well the Titans and Browns are the other two suitors and the Browns have already signed Poteat. I think the Titans could snab him. We'll SEE, there no need to overpay for ***gins.

Its better to cover your bases when you're signing a low level guy like Eric Green. Sometimes you don't know what you're going to get in a guy like that. It's the same principle as drafting two guys at a position instead of one. With two new guys coming in the same time, you get a better feel for their progress and value by comparing them to each other.

If it came down to ***gins vs Green for RCB, I would bet on ***gins

Not me ***gins is a true Nickle/Dime Corner and Green is one year removed of 1st round tender. Green has all the talent he just needed a change of scenary and system. I still think Miami drafts a corner High and when that happens you can kiss Jason Allen goodbye.

x2, but depending on the teams we face, they might tweak the starting lineup a little bit just like they did this year (even though it was a complete mess when we put j.allen on randy moss instead of w.allen... )

i really like ***gins' speed but eric green is an all-around corner IMO, but he couldn't possibly face a randy moss (neither could ***gins though.. )

CK you still see us drafting a Corner?

Regardless of Green and possibly a ***gins signing lol, we still really need a true number 1 CB regardless. If we sign ***gins i say we still need to draft another 2 CB. If ***gins doesnt sign i say we draft 3 just to be sure.

Yep and Will Allen is in the final year of his contract and is getting up in age.

yup, but i think Allen will prob resign for a decent deal depending how the progression of this season goes, i say at this point hes searching for a ring with a average reasonable contract. I say he sticks and plays number 2 next year.

Why is everyone so eager to ditch JA right now? You may think he sucks and that's cool, but what harm is there in letting him compete in camp?

as a 1st round draft pick (i no its scary) you have every reason to let him hang and try to compete, not like we have an abundance of talent spewing from the seams at that position. I think it would be different if he had a lot of proven talent and hes just wasting space.

I dont have a problem with him being in Camp, shoot Wilford will be there why not JA. I just dont think he makes the team.
