Miami Dolphins may move Mike Wallace around in offense to be more effective

This has to be done because, however he runs certain routes, it means less predictability to this offense. The difference between 57% and 60% isn't enough to put Wallace in the exact same spot every play. You finally have a guy that defenses have to game-plan for and you simplify things for them? Maybe Sherman thought he was helping Tannehill but it hurt the whole offense
I would line him up everywhere and see what happens. Why just test their best corner when you can force the whole defense to play against him?

I mean seriously the guy made it to the NFL and has blazing speed. I'm sure his route running is adequate enough to create problems for the D.

Wallace's route running is adequate enough for a rival's GM to request one of his receivers study his route running.
T.J. Graham
The second-year receiver out of North Carolina State had a strong spring filled with consistent play. Much of the consistency he has shown has come as a result of improved route running. Graham largely credits receivers coach Ike Hilliard for helping him improve. At the request of general manager Doug Whaley, Graham also studied the routes of Miami Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace, who is one of the fastest receivers and best route runners in the NFL.

“Just the transition, and the tenacity of his routes,” Graham said of his observations of Wallace on tape. “He runs them full speed, he’s got a lot of herky-jerky. He’s pressing vertical all the time. Last year, I don’t think I pressed vertical as well as I should have. I didn’t get that burst of speed coming out of breaks that I should have. This year, I feel like those are key points I need to improve on.”

Wallace is soft.

Tannehill can't hit him deep.

Tannehill will be done as starter after next year.

End of discussion.

Certainly you have a point, but it can't hurt to try this a bit. I am for ANYTHING that would make us less predictable and create mismatches.

Sherman was the worst OC we've had since henning. im glad we got rid of him and may finally have a competent oc

The offense was flawed from the start because the WR's were set in their place on the field. Hartline and Wallace always lined up in the same position. You have to mix it up move them around and created matchups that work to our benefit.

If we had a decent qb Wallace would've had a monster year.

Qb missed to many throws.

And what was his excuse all those years with Rotlisberger.
The only monster year Wallace seems to have is in his head and talking about it for him is cheap.
