There are at least two players the Miami Dolphins will consider trading up for in the NFL draft later this week, per multiple sources -- Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott and UCLA linebacker Myles Jack.
The Dolphins would love if either or both Myles and/or Elliott are available when they pick at No. 13 overall. But the chances of this happening are against the Dolphins because both players are coveted by teams scheduled to draft ahead of Miami. So the Dolphins are apparently studying scenarios where they might move up to select one of the players.
And this is interesting for multiple reasons ...

More of an opinion piece by Armando. I honestly wouldn't mind ether one as long as its a 2017 pick and mid this year.

Well, the two sources I've heard this from are Armando and Jason LaCanfora...so I think we're safe.

Stay at 13! Don't mess with other valued picks...

Jack wouldn't be the worst thing in the world but the injury really scares me. If he's the target, f*** it- see if he slips to us. For Elliott- hell no

Good point

I'm with you on Elliot - HELL NO! But for Jack, I would strongly consider trading up. He's the next great LB.

TBum did a good job trading up for Revis.. but beyond that, I don't believe he really has otherwise been too successful including wasting a 5th and 7th to move up 4 spots - not for Russell Wilson, but for Stephen Hill in the 2nd. Incidentally, moving back from 43 to 47, where TBum used the 43rd for Hill, John Schneider, a real GM, used the 47th pick for Bobby Wagner LOL

Now if it were Hickey doing the deal, then that's a different story entirely :idk:

My thinking (Not our morons running our team) is, if you already think you traded for your current and future MILB (Kiko "always injured" Alonso), why trade UP for another one? Although, I hope we do, Myles Jack is awesome, no other words can describe.

if we drafted jack and put him at mike unless he physically can no longer handle the athleticism requirements of wolb we are freaking ******s

if you aren't getting that athlete you aren't getting a top 10 worthy value any longer

He is but with the injury its not worth it. Worth the risk at 13 but giving up more picks for an injured player doesnt make sense

I read on Rotoworld there are rumors of him possibly needing micro-facture surgery in the near future. If that's what your team doctors see, you have to red flag him medically. You can't take that chance when there are a ton of other holes that need to be filled on this roster.
