Just decided to grab a bunch of different mocks and show where most "experts" have Miami going at 14. Note, that all of the ones I'm putting up are ones that have been updated in the last week. It does not include the ESPN mocks as I cannot provide the links to the insider pages
1.Rob Rang CBS Sports: Eddie Goldman DT Florida State

2.Dane Bugler CBS Sports: Brandon Scherff OL, Iowa

3.Pete Prisco CBS Sports: Trae Waynes CB, Michigan State

4.Walter Cherepinsky Walter Football: Davante Parker WR, Louisville (complete with a little jab at Tannehill)

9.Bucky Brooks NFL.com: Landon Collins S, Alabama

10.Charles Davis NFL.com: Andrus Peat OL, Stanford

11.Daniel Jeremiah NFL.com: Davante Parker WR, Louisville

12.Dan Kadar MockingTheDraft/SBNation: Eric Kendricks LB, UCLA
http://www.sbnation.com/nfl-mock-dr...fl-mock-draft-jameis-winston-leonard-williams
The signings of Dannell Ellerbe and Philip Wheeler look like busts. Kendricks could be brought in to start inside and give the Dolphins a nice young pair alongside Jelani Jenkins. If only Miami could figure out how to use Dion Jordan the right way.
There's 12 recently updated mocks for our pick at 14, and the picks are relatively spread out with Eddie Goldman, Trae Waynes, Landon Collins, and Davante Parker all being mocked to us twice while Jalen Collins, Eric Kendricks, Brandon Schreff, and Andrus Peat are also mocked to us.
Did I post these to criticize or make fun of the experts? Nope, but I thought it would be fun (and easier) to see where the experts think we should go. Much like with many of the highly respected draft enthusiasts here, the opinion of players vary. There are picks there I'd be thrilled with that I know others won't and vice versa.
1.Rob Rang CBS Sports: Eddie Goldman DT Florida State
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/mock-draft/expert/rob-rang
Jared Odrick is a free agent and there has been talk that the Dolphins might release veteran Randy Starks, who ranked worst among Miami's defensive linemen last year against the run. The 6-4, 320-pound Goldman is powerful and surprisingly quick, making him a good fit and potentially much cheaper option.
2.Dane Bugler CBS Sports: Brandon Scherff OL, Iowa
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/mock-draft/expert/dane-brugler
The Dolphins went offensive tackle in the first round last year and could address the position again this spring, especially considering Branden Albert's injury history. Scherff is ideally suited inside at guard, but brings position versatility to help out anywhere up front.
3.Pete Prisco CBS Sports: Trae Waynes CB, Michigan State
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/mock-draft/expert/pete-prisco
A young corner is needed with Brent Grimes getting up in years.
4.Walter Cherepinsky Walter Football: Davante Parker WR, Louisville (complete with a little jab at Tannehill)
http://walterfootball.com/draft2015.php
The Dolphins have been extremely frustrated with Mike Wallace. He quit on the team last year, walking off the field and refusing to go back into the game in the season finale. Now, he has refused to restructure his contract, so he could be released. If that happens, Ryan Tannehill will need a new No. 1 receiver to overthrow downfield.
5.Charlie Campbell Walter Football: Landon Collins S, Alabama
http://walterfootball.com/draft2015charlie.php
The Dolphins could move on from the oft-injured Louis Delmas in free agency. Miami general manager Dennis Hickey drafted a similar safety in Mark Barron while in Tampa Bay.
6.Scott Wright NFL Draft Countdown: Eddie Goldman DT, Florida State
http://www.draftcountdown.com/sub/Mock-Draft-A.php
The Phins appear to be back on track after the disastrous final year of former general manager Jeff Ireland’s tenure. The new regime has cleaned up the mess along the offensive line and now it is time to fix some of the mistakes made on defense. On the face defensive tackle wouldn’t appear to be a glaring need but Jared Odrick is a free agent while Randy Starks is on the wrong side of thirty and not in the long-term plans. Eddie Goldman is the next stud defensive lineman produced by the Florida St. program, following in the footsteps of Corey Simon, Travis Johnson, Brodrick Bunkley, Letroy Guion, Andre Fluellen and Timmy Jernigan. Goldman is an imposing physical specimen with excellent size and strength. While not an impact pass rusher Goldman is stout at the point of attack versus the run but quick and athletic enough to penetrate and disrupt in the backfield as well. Eddie Goldman | Florida St. Seminoles Texas DT Malcom Brown is also battling Goldman to be the third player off the board at the position. Miami could be in the market for an upgrade at outside linebacker too and if that's the case Vic Beasley of Clemson and Shaq Thompson of Washington would be options. Don’t rule out some help for the secondary in the form of Alabama S Landon Collins or Michigan St. CB Trae Waynes either. Dolphins GM Dennis Hickey proved to be a bit of a wild card in his first year at the helm so watch out for a curveball too.
7.Shane Hallam Draft TV: Trae Waynes CB, Michigan State
http://drafttv.com/content/2014/05/02/shanes-7-round-nfl-draft-mock/
The Dolphins have invested some picks into the secondary, but getting a physical presence like Waynes would be a nice fit opposite of Brent Grimes and allow more time to develop Jamar Taylor
8.Lance Zierlein NFL.com: Jalen Collins CB, LSU
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/mock-drafts/lance-zierlein/230604
This could be a good trade-back spot for Miami. Collins has great size, speed and talent for the Dolphins to groom
9.Bucky Brooks NFL.com: Landon Collins S, Alabama
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/mock-drafts/bucky-brooks/230603
Adding an instinctive playmaker to the back end would help the Dolphins eliminate the big plays in the passing game.
10.Charles Davis NFL.com: Andrus Peat OL, Stanford
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/mock-drafts/charles-davis/230602
The Dolphins continue to fortify their offensive line.
11.Daniel Jeremiah NFL.com: Davante Parker WR, Louisville
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/mock-drafts/daniel-jeremiah/230601
Miami has other more pressing needs, but pairing Parker with Jarvis Landry and Ryan Tannehill would be pretty tempting.
12.Dan Kadar MockingTheDraft/SBNation: Eric Kendricks LB, UCLA
http://www.sbnation.com/nfl-mock-dr...fl-mock-draft-jameis-winston-leonard-williams
The signings of Dannell Ellerbe and Philip Wheeler look like busts. Kendricks could be brought in to start inside and give the Dolphins a nice young pair alongside Jelani Jenkins. If only Miami could figure out how to use Dion Jordan the right way.
