Dolphins did a ball-security drill with the receivers right out of the chute. No shock there considering the problems Anthony Fasano had the other day. Those weren't just the first two lost fumbles of Fasano's pro career, by the way, but the first two fumbles of any kind for the former Notre Dame star.
Finally, the quarterbacks did some work on throwing off their back foot, pegging quick shots over the middle into those three-target nets. Then they worked on high-release throws over the middle that would carry over the outstretched arms of rushing linemen.
After all the pressure the Falcons were able to put on Chad Pennington in the opener, this sort of preparation only makes sense. Doesn't make you feel that much better about the offensive line -- at least in the short term -- but it makes sense.
