We have only four quarters of evidence. And the names are changing. But Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh isn’t focusing solely on the many things the defensive line did right in the loss to Seattle. He also’s concerned about the things that went wrong.
“We did a lot of good things,” he said in assessing the line. “I think we didn’t close out the game like we wanted to, especially up front when we had the opportunity to in the two-minute, four-minute drive.
“At the end of the day, it’s a long, long season. We have a lot more things to prove and get done. Going back and looking at the statistics, 112 yards rushing is way too many, in my opinion. The passing game, the same thing.”
Seattle had 240 passing yards on Russell Wilson’s 27-of-43 performance. Of course, the one that stung the most was his 2-yard completion to Doug Baldwin in the last minute for the winning points.
“We’ve still got work to do,” said Suh, who stood out with four tackles, a sack and three quarterback hits.
