Miami Dolphins players starting to question offensive game plan

They have tannehill handcuffed. Still treat tanne like he is a rookie. We will only to start to see a better offense once we cut him loose n let him sling it.

Against Buffalo, we were leading, had the ball at the 50 yd line, with 3 minutes left, and the playcall was to run out the clock. In this situation, the main thing is to protect the ball. We could probably kneel down 3 times, punt, and still win the game.

Tannehill changes the play into a dropback pass, with a blocking scheme that required our worst player (Tyson Clabo) to block their best player (Mario Williams), 1-on-1. This was after Mario Williams had already torched Clabo 1-on-1 for a sack earlier.

The Result? Strip sack fumble, turnover, Buffalo recovers in field goal range, and we lose a game that we were supposed to win.

Maybe Tannehill is handcuffed like a rookie, because he plays like a rookie.

Tannehill didn't audible,it was called a pass. Sherman told him to change it to a run only if they were not in an 8 man front.

This team has more problems than Sherman, So the players want to make him the scapgoat? How about the players block better, stop dropping passes and stop turning the ball over and execute, then let them complain.....I feel the wheels coming off and we will only be halfway through the season as of Thursday......It always starts with the OC is the problem whispers lol......

Good, let's put the magnifying glass dead on where it deserves to be...the offensive coaches. And let the NFL Network and ESPN and whoever wants to run with this story play it over and over again so that they all realize everyone is questioning their every move. Then, when they screw up, the NFL world watches. If they straighten up their act and we actually play better, great. Sounds like a win win to me....at least we may see some accountability forced upon Sherman and the gang.

I guess I'm hearing different things..

..Considering the Dolphins were at mid-field and needed to kill three minutes, why not continue to run the ball? Why exactly were the Dolphins passing on second-and-8 from the 50-yard line with a one-point lead?

Tannehill acknowledged he checked into a pass play after seeing the Bills defense in an eight-man front, which means they were committed to stopping the run.

Thats under different circumstances. Im talking about earlier in the game when we are suppose to be using this fast paced high powered passing offense philbin keeps talking about. Where is it? i sure as hect dont see any high powered offense. I dont see tannehill playing with any sense of urgency, no fire, nothing. I see tannehill comfortably line up, call 5 million checkdowns only to get stuffed for a sack on every damn play. He has no feel for pressure at all, u hardly ever see him escape the pocket because by the time tannehill senses the pressure he is already getting stuffed n thrown to the ground.

Still, when you see the pressure coming in that game situation you scrap the pass and dive forward towards LOS and protect the ball and get down.

It wouldn't be so bad if it was the 1st time it happened. Same thing happened in Arizona game last year. Hopefully 2 times is enough to learn from and not repeat.

I'm not a Tannehill apologist, but you're way off on both of those. In az his back was turned for play action when he was hit and he was blind sided by Mario Williams in less than 2 seconds. Like any young qb you run what is called. Trusting your teammates and coaches. Both let him down on those plays. I will say that he desperately needs to work on ball security but it would not help him on those 2 plays. Arm extended for play action and tomahawked by a near 300 pounder. Anybody fumbles there.

I just hope it is a player that has credibility. Hopefully others will do the same. The coaches are incompetent and should be called out.

It was incognito he said we need to run the ball 40 times a game lol but I seriously agree

O linemen love running the ball. They get to attack instead of react. Also it gets a better blocking rhythm, tires out the d line, an eats clock.
