Day 4

On day 4, the Dolphins defensive line continued their stout play, while the offensive line remained stagnant. Furthermore, head coach Joe Philbin finally admitted “we have a problem” when talking to the media about the offensive line play thus far into training camp. Regardless of the lack of chemistry along the offensive line, quarterback Ryan Tannehill has continued to shine. He made a beautiful pass to receiver Jarvis Landry, who beat CB Bryce McCain for a touchdown. Tannehill did, however, throw his first interception of camp to safety Reshad Jones, who high-stepped his way into the endzone.

If the hc is admitting we have a problem then we really do have a problem

Can't let the overall great talent on this team die on the vine because the guards can't block anybody.
Mathis is a no brainer at this point.

Yeah i have to think if philbins admitting it to the media that theres some internal discussions/grumblings going on...consider that last year he never once admitted there was a problem and right tackle insert was straight up killing us

Oh to be a fly on the wall in the training facility right now and tomorrow

Throw money at mathis for 1 year. I know we aren't the only team interested, and a 1 year deal is not something Mathis wants, but Im not sure we can afford him multi year...and we need to do something. Why send the troops for La'ell Collins in the offseason only to keep the guard position at suckass when one of the top Guards is on the open market

A few days into camp and philbin says there's a problem, that mean something. The oline is a mess time to sign Mathis. I think hes price tag has dropped time to bring him in

Rosenhouse & Mathis have got to be ecstatic.

This isn't the first time Philbin has expressed his displeasure with the o-line talent in his time as head coach (multiple rumors for him wanting Ireland to trade for Albert). Hopefully this FO is listening.

Although I do wonder. How the hell do you judge oline talent vs Suh and Wake when they are potentially #1 in the league as far as DT/DE talent combined.
