Miami Dolphins Rank Among Nfl’s Elite (in Takeaways, At Least)

Howard is second in interceptions in the league, also has a fumble recovery, which puts him at league best with 6 takeaways. I think he will be in the conversation of at least second team all pro when all is said and done.

turnovers is the ONE thing this team has done well this year.

...always thought if the D gets takeaways it's good for the O.

Kinda makes our O "production" all the more horrible.

And we're still one of the worst teams in the league in various categories including yards gained and given up.

Completely agree and that falls on Gase's shoulders. I don't want to hear any excuses about injuries or what not. Dolphins are bottom of the league in major offensive categories and we are suppose to have a genius offensive head coach. The fans deserve better.

Key is to stay attached then the ball location and skills come next to make the play. Howard as a rookie stayed very attached but lacked pattern recognition and situational route awareness. Second year he was a half step from making plays on the ball.

Technique has always been a plus. This year technique is top shelf and he’s making the plays on tbe ball.

There’s still more meat on the bone.

Minkah stays attached. Starts with that. Could easily see him make strides in year two with pattern recognition and locating the football in carry coverage.

If he stays at corner. Already has top shelf ball skills as a safety ask.

When you are stat wise one of the best takeaway teams in the NFL you must be seriously screwing up in other areas with the Phins record. Pathetic and lame. Waste of good plays on Defense but it's the norm.
