Miami Dolphins Ready To Make Hard Cuts On Tuesday

Me too. But with all appropriate humility, if it's me we aren't even having this discussion because I haven't made some of these colossal personnel **** ups. Colombo and Carey are going to stay and they're going to start. I'm pretty sure about that now. So if we're going to try and figure out the 53 I think we have to proceed from there. No offensive line coach turned head coach is going to move his veteran right tackle to guard and cut him because he couldn't make the transition in a few weeks. He's going to give it a while even if it kills his entire offense.

yeah...i think your right on that...unfortunately

I was watching who I thought was Kearse on a few plays in the fourth quarter and he looked stout. I assumed it was him because it was so late in the game. One thing I noticed was that Soliai didn't play much after the first quarter. Looked like McDaniels played a lot. I didn't pay attention to the number. Whoever it was had dreds and I'm not sure what Fields or Kearse looks like so it could have been one of them. Kearse should get a lot of play Thursday night, though.

from what i have seen of kearse i think he's got much more upside than fields...who looks to me like a finished product...fields is probably more ready to play right now but in the long run i like kearse potential as being higher...i thought we could sneak him on the p squad but we do have a deep solid dline so teams are gonna look at anything we cut there pretty hard i would think...

alright...took an in depth peak tonight and i don't want to sound any alarms on another offensive lineman but fellas mike pouncey was getting destroyed in short yardage and goalline by strength...i think he's very solid in pass pro allowed another inside pressure after turning his head to the side on another inside blitzer i believe it was but overall i trust him in pass pro...but in the running game...struggling with strength is all i can say

the 2nd and goal play from the 1 where reggie bush got pummelled for like a 3 yard loss pounceys over okam at the snap he then gets blown up to the point he's literally on one knee and then both and trying to hold okam at bay with just his arms extended and okam steam rolls into the backfield and puts the wallop on bush...i shudder to think what short yardage and goalline against a nose the caliber of vince wilfork will be like in a few weeks off of what i'm seeing...pouncey repeatedly was defeated inside in the running game and his man making the initial play on the ball...brian price frank okam both just giving him fits...unless these guys have become rolling butcher knives overnight this is eye opening stuff

frank kearse got one series against the 2's late in the 3rd quarter and stout was the word...first play walks the center back a yard with one arm uses his other arm to ackle the rb for a loss or no gain...another play in the i think it was 3 play series he loses his helmet and still walks the center back like on skates...kids very stout...definitely something we want to hang on to...only other series he got was the last defensive series of the game he makes a tackle at the los on a runner and thats the end of his play...pretty much 2 series and a 2downrun in each...i think we're trying to hide him by not showing him much...we'll see how much run he gets in the cowboys game...if its not much i think i know why

fields showed ok against the 2's also but kearse looks like the more stout player and the one with more upside...

i don't understand after watching daniel thomas carries what this staff expects him to do more...he fell forward despite no blocking help and there was a few flashes of those feet and that quick short area acceleration...give him the rock sparano dammit

john jerry got run at left tackle for a series and it was awful...thats all i can say...they were moving guys all around in the 2 deep...jerry looks lethargic...sparano lit him up one time after a sack he let up that killed a series...

grigsbys tougher than i thought...not afraid of contact

larry johnson actually looked like he may be in solid shape...surprised to say the least...saw some decent feet but no burst with the ball in his hands

marvin mitchell got run with the ones on d in the 3rd quarter in place of karlos dansby...
