I did not expect a 16 win season. i also did not not expect us to win 15 games.

Fortunatley it only takes about 10 wins 9 sometimes even less)to make the playoffs.(last year the steelers only won 9 reg. season games)

In 2001 the NE Patriots started 0-2, after four weeks they were 1-3. Im sure you all know how that year turned out. 2 seasons later they opened the season looking horrible(anyone else remember the 31-0 blowout by the Bills)after four weeks that year they were 2-2.

I dont wont you all to think that i am comparing those three teams to our current one. I just want everyone one this sit who claims to be a MIAMI DOLPHINS FAN to realize in the NFL you cannot scrap a season after just TWO WEEKS.
Should we be upset with a 0-2 start. Of course, but we should NOT even be thinking about what draft pic we are going to get at the end of the year. The only time that should ever be a converstaion is during the OFFSEASON. No player on this TEAM is going to lose on purpose to bring in some kid who may be better than one taken a few selectins later. Ronnie Brown,Daunte Culpepper, Jason Taylor, Zach Thoms and the rest of this team are going to go out every week and try to win the game. If it doesnt work out that that sucks but you never know when it will all come together, All You can do as a FAN is have FAITH and hope that the peolple in charge are making the right decisions and the players execute on game day.

Just for the record my prediction was 10 or 11 wins and belive it or not, they can still pull that off.

It's true...the playoffs aren't out of reach, but in the AFC you have to win at least 10 games to get in the playoffs. I project the Fins winning 9 or 10. They must beat the Titans, and hopefully have a 4-3 record before the bye week.

i thought we could get 11 but unless we can travares tillman and our line+culpepper doesnt improve drastically i fear a losing record is on the cards for us

I expected 10 wins before the season, and as I keep saying, I'll expect such a record until the team puts up its 7th loss.

Anybody want to make a $5 bet that we don't finish with a losing record? Money gets donated to finheaven in winners name.

11-5 With Miami losing the first two games of the season before going on a nine game winning streak. :) (Hey it could happen.)

Realistically we have a long way to go, I thought 10 wins before the season started, now I think we'll be lucky to go 9-7.

:lol:I like that

I was expecting to win 12 games this season. Now I'm expecting to win 10. If we pull that off, I believe we can still make the playoffs!!

Before the season started, i figured 10-6 with a slow start to get culpepper comfortable in his new surroundings. i still have faith that number is still in reach.

i was thinking right around 10 or 11. which is still very possible and i still think we can take this division.

My prediction was also for 10 or 11 wins, and I can tell you, NO WAY IN HELL can they pull that off. Saban will be lucky as hell if this team wins 8 games.

And as a fan, having faith isn't all I can do. I can raise holy hell and raise awareness of what the standards are and hope others follow suit. Even though they may deny it, NFL owners are very sensitive to public pressure. Negative vibes around the team hurt ticket sales, attendance, and that hurts the bottom line. I heard we had 20K no-shows vs the Titans. I wish their had been 40K no-shows. Losing cannot be tolerated, or else it will continue.

IMO, not much has gotten better since 2004. What positions are we far-and-away out producing the 2004 season? Not many, thats for sure.
