The Dolphins might still be flawed because how else to describe a team with a 1-3 record and standing two games out of first place. But at least they are heading in the right direction.
At least for the first time this season, the dirty, sweaty players in the postgame locker room didn't smell of defeat.
At least the players who failed miserably the first three games of the season, all losses, challenged each other last week -- and then answered the challenge.
CHALLENGING THEMSELVES
``We competed today,'' safety Yeremiah Bell said. ``We've heard flak the last three weeks about the secondary, and we kind of challenged ourselves. We haven't come out these last three weeks and looked very good.
``So we challenged ourselves in practice this week. Everybody challenged everybody else in the group to come out and play with focus and concentration and communicate, and you see the results. We played a lot better.''
