And a potbelly:biggrin

There was a play in Sunday’s game where Rey Maulauga hit a Titans guard so hard, he just had to say something.
“I know you felt that,” Maualuga said. “I know you felt that.”
At the age of 30, in his ninth NFL season, Maualuga has brought to the Miami Dolphins (as has fellow linebacker Lawrence Timmons) some qualities the unit lacked last season — brutality, brawn and belligerence.
“Violent players,” defensive coordinator Matt Burke said this week.

That girdle he had on under his jersey definitely did its part. Didn't look as nasty as those pictures from practice.

In all seriousness, he made a huge impact against the run.

Loved that USC LB corps with big Rey, Brian Cushing, and Clay Matthews.

I still say put a sack of 5 guys in a locked box on the sidelines. You get the key Rey after 2 stops behind LOS or 2 sacks whichever comes first

Maualuga is an experienced veteran who knows how to play physical and he understands Matt Burke's defensive system from the Cincinnati days. I thought he looked good in a few plays and was part of stuffing up the Tennessee run game last week. Yes, Rey has a bit of a belly but we should be looking at his play and it looks like he still reads the Offense well and knows his role. Could turn out to be a very good late acquisition to the team after McMillan's injury.

Bring it to Atlanta Rey! I hope Rey, Suh, and Wake turn their qb into Matt CRyin

I don't follow college ball but damn. Whoever recruited them at the same time did their homework for sure. That's just sick.

Palmer and Leinart on offense helped. Along with Reggie Bush averaging like 10 yards a carry. Those teams were nasty. And still couldn't stop Vince Young.

The guy who recruited them is now coaching the Seahawks.
