Do you agree?

''I definitely do,'' Brown said Thursday after the Dolphins finished their latest organized team activities session. ``You've got to have confidence on this level and if I didn't, I wouldn't want to be playing this game. So obviously when their names are brought up I want my name to be in that same group.''

I love Ronnie Brown and I still think that if he stays healthy and is fed the ball properly for a full season he can be extremely productive.
However, when I think of elite running backs I think of guys that get 13-1500 yards and 10-15+ Tds in a year. Ronnie has yet to do that, although he was on pace for it in 07. I'd rather have Ronnie let his play do his talking.

Like i said in another post, Sparano spoke very highly of Ronnie. About 3 minutes into his video he says great things about him on/off the field and on tape. He even goes as far as saying he will be a "Star player" next year.

I smell a contract extension coming soon.

I really hope so. I think he brings too much to the table to let him go..

His agent isn't Drew is it? :(

lol so Ronnie has a highopinion of himself so it must be true

has he shown it yes but not for the entire season he is one of the best Backs in the league no doubt

sounds like he's trying to include himself in the elite field of RB's so that his new contract will be elite as well. He needs to prove it to the front office before too long, or he may be replaced or franchised.

Ha, if Ronnie were that dumb I would tell him to go play in traffic. He's clearly not trying to boast about himself so that the FO will completely believe him and give him his new contract sometime today. To me, when he says he's along with the elites, it means he has faith in himself and knows he can do more than he's been doing these past 5 years.

Way to contribute??? In every thread I read today I've seen nothing from you except dissin Fins players with sarcasm. In one thread about Chad P you completly hijacked the thread with your Pat White is our savoir crap. We get it you dont like him...

All i have to say did u guys not watch the Pro Bowl.? enough said.

It does sound like he thinks he is among the elite but until it is proven on the field, calling yourself elite is just puffing yourself up.

There are people on here that think some rookie is an elite player even before they step on the field. It is crazy when fans talk about someone being elite without proving it but it is insane for a player to include himself in the elite list at their position without proving it...also whatever happened to being humble?

I think it is very possible that we could see Ronnie explode for a huge year. I am talking about something like 1300+ rushing yards and 10+ touchdowns. Hopefully we get the Ronnie we all say for the first 7 games of the 2007 season. It would be nice to see him put together back to back Pro Bowl seasons.
