The place where Dolphins seasons go to die. The Dolphins haven't won here since 2003, and in those six years it has become almost habit to see Jason Taylor trying to explain yet another meltdown on this cold plot of land that has been a graveyard for his team's hopes.
So there was Taylor again on Sunday, at his locker discussing Miami's litany of missed tackles, missed throws, and the day's huge missed opportunity, when someone asked the money question:
Is the Dolphins season over, for all intents and purposes, after this disappointing 31-14 upset loss to Buffalo?
``We have six losses,'' Taylor said, beginning to assess Miami's desperate circumstances. ``If someone wants to give up on us or thinks it's over, just don't come in [Monday] -- media, fans, players, coaches, anybody -- just don't come to work [Monday]. I'll be there.
``It ain't over yet.''
The bravado is borderline inspiring. But judging from one undeniable fact, it's hard to imagine Taylor being correct. It's hard to imagine the Dolphins recovering from this loss and still making the playoffs with a late-season surge.
That undeniable fact? The Dolphins are terrible at finishing.
