Looking forward to his next story on the questionable drivability of a car halfway through being built.

Maybe it is "shaky" because the season does not start today.

How much do you expect us to improve between now and the start of the season?

If Miami expects to compete they really have to have possibly the best draft in franchise history.

There are numerous ways to still improve -- trades, FA signings, the draft, June cuts, etc. Let the people in Davie do their jobs. It's April 1st for pete's sake! Sorry if I am not ready to panic.

From that dept chart, I would not touch QB, DL, DB or TE UNTIL after I address WR, G, LB and in that order. Once I address those positions, then I'd look at CB, S and RB

ehh even seeing dallas thomas as the starting left guard in april makes me want to hurl

really thin at cb and wr...dt those kids are gonna have to step up

You cant count on rookies and if there are a couple key injuries this season could be another big disappointment. There is zero depth.

Cmon you know all our late draft picks and undrained guys are ready to be major contributors lol. I do agree it's early but we did not fill one need in free agency.

What are you trading that doesn't include draft picks...it's one or the other. Who's left in free agency that's really going to help us? I'm not panicking, I'm just being sensible. People around here are expecting a playoff run just cause we signed Suh and they're not looking at the big picture...which is we have less talent overall this year than last.

It is what it is...and really we should have purged the roster in 2012 when Philbin took over and remade the roster to fit what he wanted to do but again...we're doing things the wrong way. We're purging the roster now, setting Philbin up to fail and then he'll be fired and we'll hire a new coach that will want the roster remade for what he wants to do and we'll be behind again.

Also, if the people in Davie knew what the heck they were doing we wouldn't be wondering what they heck they're doing lol. We haven't had people in Davie that had a clue since Jimmy Johnson was the coach...in 1999.

Yes, it's too early, but this isn't a bad point to make. Glaring holes on offense and defense this far into the off-season. With our 3rd rounder already gone I'm not sure what miracle you all are expecting the draft to offer us. And these extreme deficiencies at certain positions are killing the opportunity for us to go BPA which is necessary for us if we're going to reach the next level by bringing in elite impact players.

This Tannenbaum era is starting off exactly as I feared. You make one big splashy signing to make it seem like you're great at your job and then you just sit back and ignore all the work required to build a complete team. How much better do you all expect it to get through late FA holdovers and roster cuts? Maybe we sign Jennings on his last legs and trade for a middling CB.. even if we have a whale of a draft and hit on our only 2 early picks does that make this team a contender?

If we continue to ignore the oline. None of this matters. Our best lineman is coming off a major injury and we have no plan B. We've penciled in Dallas as a starter when he has shown nothing aside from being completely over his head. The solution to this is what take a G at 14? Is our team so overflowing with playmakers that we can pass up the opportunity to take one just to address a position we should have addressed earlier. This off-season is playing out exactly as I'd hoped it wouldn't with Tannenbaum clearing the deck for next year when he'll have the power all to himself.

Hopefully we can fill 2 or 3 holes in the draft and post draft FA. I still say we're better than last year.

You can draft Parker , trade a pick for Mathis...... Oh wow look .......

Happy now ? Who cares about what's on paper , this season will rely on two things ...

Will Tannehill continue to develop and improve at the rate he has? If so ... We'll be a good team

Will our D line play up to expectations ??

There that's what our season will be all about
