The Miami Dolphins lead the NFL in largest increase for home game ticket prices for the upcoming 2015 NFL season, according to TicketNetwork.com's study on NFL ticket prices. Tickets for the Miami Dolphins have risen 33% from the previous season, 6.5% greater than the rise in prices for the Buffalo Bills, who saw the second-highest increase. Fueling the surge in demand is renewed fan optimism, marquee matchups with some of the league's biggest franchises, as well as major changes to Sun Life Stadium.

The Dolphins get to host two rare match-ups this season, playing both the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants in their home stadium. Those games have the highest priced tickets this season for the Dolphins, selling for an average of $228 with a $149 "get in" price and $210 with a $131 get in price, respectively.*
The Dolphins made changes to Sun Life Stadium this season including brand new seats, new suites, and 4 high-definition video boards in each corner of the stadium. "When you consider the new renovations to the stadium, it's no surprise the Dolphins saw the largest increase in average ticket price," says Shawntay Nelson, Sports Specialist at TicketNetwork. "The improvements will enhance the game day experience and the fans are buying in."
The Dolphins will also host one of the three games in the United Kingdom's Wembley Stadium this season, competing against the New York Jets on October 4. Tickets are going for an average of $192 for one of the league's most unique regular season games.

The corner seats are gone, half a sideline is now luxe-boxes, and all the upgrades are being done without public money. Don't complain.

less home games, excitement over team, great home sched less seats. a pretty good recipe for a spike in ticket prices on secondary market.

They reduced stadium capacity from 78,000 to about 66,000. Makes it a tougher ticket to get. Should make traffic slightly better as well.

We've joined the rest of the league in having grossly overpriced tickets.

It stinks, but what can ya do?

Season tickets are decently priced.

I think the secondary market is going to be really painful. If anybody wants to attend a game they may want to get the tickets when they are coming out.

I'm coming down for the home opener and the cheapest tickets available on StubHub are already over $90 a pop.

but they said no one will want to see Philbin another year? but they said Suh won't make a good presence on selling tickets?

Who said that?

There is a huge difference in the fan base. Season ticket holders are less whiny and care less about all that extra stuff. We just want to go to the game. That Philbin stuff you read online in Forums and maybe the media. But I have not heard that whining at the games. As a matter of fact we are kinda excited with the stadium redo and our hopes for a better season.

To be fair, the reason the Dolphins season ticket numbers were so lousy for a long time... is that a lot of season ticket holders DID give up their tickets over stuff like Huizenga refusing to can Wanny.

I hope they lose some games early so the ticket prices will go down. Regardless, I'm not going to any games this year.

Some great uncle passed away. I never even met the guy and he left me millions. I'll probably donate to Hillary Clinton's campaigned for they are hurting for money.
