Miami Dolphins to experiment with position switch for Koa Misi

Boy some *****s in here. Misi wasn't a playmaker but he did his job on this defense. I don't see Langford getting all of hate and he isn't much of a playmaker either yet people wanna resign him.

I actually like the ideal of Misi on the inside. He is a good mover and a solid tackler and his instincts are good. Would like to see him shed a few pounds to add some quickness but I definitely could see him thriving in this new role and it most certainly would save us from drafting a ILB early.

It's a move I thought they should have considered last year as well as Misi just doens't have the pass rush skills to be as solid as you need to be from the DE/OLB position. That draft has some potential if John Jerry can pan out at RT, which I also think is possible.

Only on this board would people want to cut Dansby and bench Misi. Armchair GM's... classy and bold.

I thought Misi was decent in run support, but he came off the field during passing downs so I'm not sure we really know what we have in Misi yet. He doesnt appear to have great pass rush skills when lining up on the LOS, but that may change if he becomes a blitzing LB. I think the position switch is a good call.

Exactly the point I was trying to make in my prior post.

Hopefully this means we pick up Keuchly at 8.

I have a question regarding this position switch. Does this indicate that we are likely moving towards a 4-3 than a 3-4 hybrid? I know they said they would like to run a hybrid, but moving Misi to ILB in a 3-4 makes no sense to me with Burnett and Dansby there.
