Miami Dolphins to officially part ways with Chad Henne

Henne and Sanchez are a couple of losers. I'll miss their epic 27 combined passer rating December showdowns. Really, I will.

In 4 of his 6 games against Miami sanchez has posted a rating better than 85 and overall in 6 games against Miami he has posted an 84.6 rating

more important than the rating, the Win Loss record vs. Miami, 2 Wins vs. 4 Losses, and in his 4 losses he posted an average of 74.65 rating, including a 65.5 and a 45.3 which he was 90% of the reason if not more of why they lost those 2 games

People shouldn't be harping on Junc and the Jets to give up on Sanchez. They should be pointing and laughing and utterly joyous about it. Every year they keep him as the starter is a year that team won't amount to much of anything.

When it comes time for the story to be written about Sanchez, he won't even place above Richard Todd in team history.

W-L does mean more but luckily not one of those losses cost us playoff position, even had we swept you in '09 we still get the 5 seed, even had we won the 2nd game in '10 we still get the 6 seed and even had we beat you in week 17 this year we still miss the playoffs.

He's already above Richard Todd, he has twice as many playoff wins and despite playing in more games and attempting more passses he has less INTs- sanchez has 3 in 6 games, Todd had 12 in 4 games. Todd cost us 2 playoff games, sanchez has yet to cost us any.

I dont want to get into this repetitve discussion about that, but common man, they did NOT know they were going to not make it when they were playing, they were playing to win, that is a fact, no team plays to lose, so playing to win gives them at LEAST a chance at making the playoffs (which was pretty close to happening), however Sanchez played terribly and lost and gave them a ZERO% chance of making the playoffs instead of even a 30% chance, fact still remains they lost while they were trying to win

Even better, Henne is 3-1 vs Taco's 09 faux playoff team and the legitimate 10 playoff team.

Scoreboard!

Exactly. Trust me, I like you believing this. I want you believing this. I want all Jets fans to believe this, and especially Mike Tannenbaum and Rex Ryan to believe this.

Next year is going to be the year the whole thing implodes, I think. You could already sense it last year... anarchy building up in the locker room. Team captains bordering on mutiny. It's probably a good thing for the Jets they didn't make the playoffs. I don't think that situation could have taken another week. Even LaDanian Tomlinson, who's been on some dysfunctional Chargers teams, called it the worst locker room he's ever been in.

The Holmes/Sanchez thing is still broken and will never be fixed. And it's not just Holmes, guys on both sides of the ball have woken up to the fact that the QB can't get it done. Stabilizing influence and Rex Ryan mouthpiece Bart Scott is probably on his way out. The team still has no outside pass rusher. The right side of the offensive line is a joke. Shonn Greene is a mediocrity. Rex's bravado is being questioned inside the locker room.

As long as Rex and Pettine are around that defense will probably still be good. Those guys really know how to teach defense and they know how to time blitzes and manipulate schemes to hide what is actually only a somewhat talented defensive roster. But Rex doesn't know offense and the guy he's brought there to fix it -- Tony Sparano -- is a sub mediocrity on the chalk board whose inability to scheme in the long run undercuts the only thing he actually can do, which is motivate.

Tony Sparano will not "fix" Mark Sanchez. If anything, he will make him worse, as Sparano teaches caution and Sanchez plays much better when he's told to just let it fly. Imagine Sanchez playing like he did against Baltimore in the 2010 opener. That's what it's going to be like.

The Jets have all the markings of a 6-10 team this year, and that's probably being charitable. And unless Rex cuts bait with Sanchez it's going to get him fired sooner rather than later.

nyjunc, is Sanchez banging Kate Upton???

If so he's an effin pimp.

That is the word around town. I actually sat 2 seats away from here at a game this year, apparently her sister works for the Jets and she is at almost every home game.

They didn't know but they did know we needed a ton of teams to lose and the playoffs were remote even if we won. I am not saying he was not trying to win or the team wasn' but the team was clearly in trouble before that game. The facts are the loss didn't prevent us from making the playoffs and none of the 4 losses to Miami have hurt us as far as playoff seeding.

Scoreboard would be finishing 2 games behind us in 2009 and 4 games behind us in 2010 along w/ sanchez's 4 playoff wins being 4 more than Henne has.

Scoreboard would be being outscored by the Colts by their first stringers with a hobbled Freeney and no Sanders 17-0 in the last 1.5qtrs which translates out to at best an 8-8 or possibly the same 7-9 team the Phins were in 09 and invalidates any claims of deserving to be anywhere other than in the easy chair if not for the Colts and Bengals generosity.

The 09 jest post season is more asterisk*-worthy than Barry Bonds hitting records!

Anyone who thinks Mark Sanchez is the answer is a blind homer and loses all credibility when pretending to be "objective" about other matters. If the Sanchez supporter tries to say something credible elsewhere, the rest of us would be like "isn't that the crackpot who thinks Sanchez is good?"

The person is tainted. Reminds me of the Finheaven poster who last year claimed Kaepernick was going to be better than Elway, or the poster who claims that black quarterbacks aren't good, or the poster who wanted Dan Reeves to come in here in 2011. Those guys just have those incredible views attached to them, and the rest of what they say is now compromised because they lose credibility.

I am not saying no one can be wrong. But when you take a position that anyone sane can see is purely absurd, and don't qualify it, then you can take all credibility out the window.

+1

Unlike the realistic Miami fans who knew that Sparano was a mental midget or that Henne wasn't the answer. It gives us credibility when we saw long ago that these guys were bad. We make enough noise, and BAM! they are gone. That's how you do it.

If you sit there and are a blind homer and think everything your team does is great, then you endorse the status quo. And man, I love that Jets fans are not as educated as Miami fans. Let them keep loving their guy and supporting him. That's exactly what Miami would love. I hope they sign Sanchez to a 7 year, $80 million extension. Lock him in there. Realistic Miami fans and unrealistic Jets fans can equally rejoice.

what game was that Colts game? the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME? b/c we lost the AFC Championship game(in a game that was close in the 4th qtr) it means we were an 8-8 or 7-9 team? so did the humiliation in the '08 WC game at home mean the' '08 dolphins were a 5-11 team?
